This Judd talk is starting to frustrate me. We have been given no indication that he wants to leave or stay yet all the idiots are making comments like "Judd set to turn back on eagles".

If he signs for two more years we get 12 MONTHS OF PEACE in 2008 and then in 2009 the SAME SHIT WILL START AGAIN will he stay or go. It was a MAJOR DISTRACTION FOR our footy club this year along with a heap of other crap.

Yep.. its true.

They are just trying to create headlines, I really doubt any team would be dying to get Judd (because of the cost factor) other than maybe the lower teams who need to build around a player.

Judd would be stupid to leave now and he knows it. Leaving in 2/3 years time on the other hand is quite a different story.

He's after premierships.. the only teams he can go to are: The Eagles, Geelong, Hawks and Collingwood.

Its not going to happen.

I personally think he'll stay but the fact that he's presumably been presented with new contract or even contracts and has not signed one could be taken as a signal that he is at least considering leaving.

That has been his stated position for some time, so it's not really an indication of him going or staying either way.

Money can't be the factor. Judd is going to be well-paid regardless of where he is next year.

He wants to go home, but he's a professional sportsman. Surely success is the ultimate carrot. Why would he want to bail on playing finals every year and go to a side that is 3-4 years away from doing anything?

Lets hope he doesn't think he can do the same thing he did for the eagles.

Start off with a crappy team in 2002 (bottom 4 in 2001?) and go to premiership success by 2006. :thumbsd:

Which will at least be one positive if he leaves.

He hasn't been offered any contract by the Eagles as yet.

Once Juddy goes to them and says yes I want to stay thats when they will put forward a contract.

CMON JUDDY decide soon mate and put us out of our misery :thumbsu:

He has said that he'll make a "statement" by Wed - not a "decision" by Wed. More likely to stay despite hysterical rumours being fuelled by the Melbourne media - already posts that Rebecca Twigley has enrolled at Melb Uni - what a joke ! - all she could have done is submitted her preference online - and only VTAC would know that - anyone leaking confidential info from there is likely to be spending some time behind bars.

i read somewhere that Sydney was keen. Tho who wouldnt be. Any chance??Why would Judd want to go to Sydney? The idea of him leaving Perth is to return to Melbourne. And I have serious doubts that even that's true.

he probably doesnt, its all media hype, but to answer the question hyperthetically, why not. he fits perfectly into the sydney 'bloods' ethos, him and Goodes would be absolutely utterly lethal, along with Kirky in the midfield, we have the need... for speed... and he is actually quite well liked over here. closer to melb than perth ;)

ps You'd have to give Goodes up (and some) to get him.

Theoretically you could also recruit Glass, Cox and Kerr as well that would make the Swans unbeatable. Sadly we live in the real world.

I dont know why you guys are stressing, you have alot of good running talent at the Eagles, if he goes you can cover him even though he is one of the games elite players, you will be able to ask something decent for him which could make your team even stronger.

Stress less I say :thumbsu:

Well considering its being reported that he wants to go home to Melbourne and your club is in Sydney somehow i think not.

But thanks for playing.

You wouldn't think that from the media in Victoria. In Sheehans article in the Sunday Times it was all he had to go on yet the article was slanted that it is almost a forgone conclusion that he is leaving

The lack of honesty and perception of us in the media this season has been just as frustrating as the injuries we have suffered...

Im sick and tired of hearing
Things
From uptight-short sighted-
Narrow minded Hutchy cretin

All I want is the truth
Just give me some truth

Ive had enough of reading
Things
By nuerotic-pyschotic-
Pig headed journalists

All I want is the truth
Just give me some truth

No short haired-yellow bellied
Son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard
Soft soap me
With just a pocketful of hope

Money for dope
Money for coke

Im sick to death of acqusations
involving tight lipped-
Condescending Kizon king of ponytails

All I want is the truth
Just give me some truth

Ive had enough of watching
Scenes
Of schizophrenic - ego - centric
- paranoic - prima - donnas

All I want is the truth
Just give me some truth
