I'm sure you are feeling like shit now after what has been a season full of controversy.
And of course todays announcement will seem like the last straw.

BUT, don't despair, you guys have so much to look forward to.

You have such a great list, have unveiled heaps of talented kids, will have a fully fit Cousins back and all the rewards from trading Judd.

I admire the way the Eagles have gone about the football this year, having to wade through a sea of crap all year and they still almost managed to get to a prelim.

You guys will be back bigger and better than ever next year and while it won't seem like it now, you will actually be better off without Judd.

In relation to Post 4...I suspect the next seevral weeks and the outcome for losing Judd and whether or not we get the opportunity to be fairly compensated for it will decide that. If he leaves and threatens to go in the PSD or something , I suspect the reception may not be warm.

he'll be 30 next year. wirra and hansen are injury ridden. its gonna take a lot more for be to feel convinced we can win the flag next year unless we win big in the trades.

I agree. Kerr is great, but Cousins is pushing 30, and Fletcher is nowhere near his level, and is also no spring chicken. Priddis has been improving out of sight this year, but he's still prone to brain explosions of the highest order at times. Plus, we've got a question mark over Chick.

A stiff drink is in order, methinks.

I feel for the Eagles fans, I know if I were in the same position, I'd be devastated. But, you have a bright future without Judd, hopefully you can get a good deal, and as much as I would like the tiges to get him, don't lose him through the PSD.
