Absolutely gutted.
All the off-field crap.
The heart-wrenching injuries that cost us back to back flags.
Now the captain and best AFL player leaves us.
I thought I was down after the 2005 GF loss but I feel even lower today.

What a contrast in emotions from last year.
You don't realise how much football means to you until something something like this happens.

I'm with you.
This year has been like getting put through a meat grinder.
Just when you think you've come out the other side ready to go again, you get put straight back in.
I feel absolutley shattered.

If this is so why was he sitting in the coaches box on Fri night?
Dean Bailey was excluded from all of Ports finals preparations from the moment he got the Melbourne coaching job. Why have Judd, dressed in our club uniform sitting in the box pretending he cares what happens?
Did the players know? Cause they have all been talking in the last couple of days as if they either thought he would be staying or didn't know?
I am pissed that they let this happen, if he didn't want to stay, fine, but you are no longer a member of this club.

My first words after the siren on Friday night..."thank god this bloody season is over".....now appears I shouldn't have counted my chickens that there wasn't one more sting in the tail.......
I'm shattered....footballers like Judd don't come along often. Times like this I am glad I don't have kids who would likely be taking the news much worse than me. Mothers all over Perth working out how to unpick a #3 right now, or hoping to hell someone bloody good gets the number.

He told the club today, told his manager Thursday I believe. Just makes me pissed off with him that he sat there whilst our season was finished. I cheered him off as he walked off the ground with Waters... can't believe it's all come to this.

My daughter was a Bulldogs supporter who changed to West Coast after developing a crush on Judd! I told her Juddy wouldn't marry her if she didn't go for West Coast so she changed clubs! She just asked me with a tear in her eye if he would still wear the number three?

I have enjoyed this year far more than 2001, the only year I have been ashamed of my club. they would just capitulate and show none of the fight on show in our finals campaign this year, despite the fact that we lost.
What a f***** year!!!
Lets just hope he changes his mind over night like Pet Matera did ha ha

I hate to put a spanner in the works but if Chick isn't offered a new contract, Cousins could be hanging up his boots :(
As much as I highly doubt Cousins would do it to us - because lets face it, unlike Judd, he bleeds blue and gold - but one must question, can our year get worse?

No way is it the worst year. I remember wondering if I was every going to see another premiership after 01. I had nightmares of turning into Richmond or the Bulldogs. Given the circumstances this year, the result was impressive, and IF we can get Fev, things could be looking very promising for the next year. Either way, the future as it stands right now, is very bright.

Totally agree.
I keep telling myself its just sport, its no big deal, so why am i upset? Right from the start of the year things have been going from bad to worse, and I'm scared to say "it can't get any worse" because we just don't know what tomorrow might bring.
