Get over it people. First of all, I'm fine with our season, nothing more we could have done under the circumstances.
And as for Judd, no guarantee he's going to be back to his best anyway. So we lost a great midfielder? Plenty of others. Kerr, Cousins, Pridda, Butler, etc. Forgetting those? We have plenty of depth to cover this loss. We can still win a flag without Judd, even if we get **** all out of a trade.
be realistic here. cousins is gonna be 30. fletchers career is just about over. only gun weve got is kerr. embley is injury ridden, so is hansen and wirrapanda. priddis will never match judd. we will need to be heavily compensated for the loss of judd.

I am looking forward to see what we get in return.
There is no guarantee that Judd will return to his former glory after surgery.

Agree with the season being the best we could've achieved under the circumstances. Also agree that Judd may never be back to his best. Also agree that we've still got Kerr - who for mine was starting to equal Judd anyway - plus Sammy B who was unfortunate with injury all season. Priddis is getting better and better.
I just wish I had internet access at work. Trade week is going to go off.

I still think we can win it 2008, especially depending on what a Judd trade brings us.
You know what I'm most sad about......at the end of 06' GF, I thought about the midfield, what a priviledge it was to be a West Coast fan and see arguably the best midfield ever assembled do their thing. I didn't walk away from the G' thinking it was the last time I'd watch them healthy and playing in the same team.

Juddy was a reluctant captain. He has said many times in the past that he wanted to return home, so I think it was a silly move to make him captain to try and sway him from returning home.

Potentially, one of the greatest group of on ballers in the history of the game has been dismantled just when it seemed they were reaching the peak of their powers.
It was good while it lasted I suppose.

I doubt he ever really wanted to be captain, it was kinda just thrust upon him because he's so good.
