Get Mansten & Palmer. If we trade Judd for Fev & Pick 3 (and possibly pick 20), we could get Mansten with pick 3 and i believe that Palmer will slip to our pick 13-14. I would be very happy with that, plus we could get a ruckman with pick 20. :thumbsu:
But still there is no replacement for Chris Judd. :(
Imagine our midfield in 3 years time. Kerr, Priddis, Hurn, Butler, Mansten, Palmer, Rosa, Selwood, Nicoski, Waters. That will be quality.

Our midfield was a once in a lifetime thing. Those 3 players together is just unbeatable. I don't think our midfield will ever be as good as that for a bloody long time if ever.

Palmer wont get past pick 7
Our midfield was a once in a lifetime thing. Those 3 players together is just unbeatable. I don't think our midfield will ever be as good as that for a bloody long time if ever.

Is Cale Morton really that good because Mitch hasn't played up to the standard that everyone reported before we picked him up.:)

Not a chance.....if we take Palmer, Freo would take Masten, and likely vice versa.

Palmer is not likely to get past Essendon at #6. a goal-kicking midfielder is exactly what we need.

u wont be getting fev.At most we will offer 3,20 and kennedy.and cos richmond wont go for judd at 2 u will want our offer as 3 is the closest ul get in the draft.

Remember it is Priddis' FIRST year... He has a lot of improvement still in him.

I think 1 + 3 and no other players would be the best outcome for both
Blue's don't lose anything they didn't have + gain Judd for the next 6-8 years and keep fevola who is the real key to winning a flag. Without him then going after Judd is a bit pointless unless the find somebody else to kick 60+,
West coast I feel are more likely to take Cotchin & Masten, if we go Kruezer then Richmond will take Cotchin (who I see as the more likely to make it) and we are left with a ruck/rover combo that apart from Kerr is going to be SLOW & serious lack of X-factor
Kruezer is very good around the ground at accumulating disposals and dropping forward but from what I have seen his actual ruck work & vertical leap are not great and at 199cm that could be a problem. What he does have is strength, aggression & smarts so he could still be useful.
Another option would be trying to upgrade pick 3 to pick 2 so we can get both Kruezer & Cotchin, not sure what we would need to do that, pick 3 + a player (Morton) for 2 & 19 perhaps

Out - Judd, Morton, Pick 3
In - Pick 1, 2, 19
Picks 1, 2, 12, 19 in the draft should get 2 - 3 high quality Midfielder and 1 high quality tall
Maybe
Kruezer, Cotchin, Myers & Selwood

the draft pick will be less of an issue than the player(s) attached to the deal. W.C might decide they want a current, top-notch forward. If carlton refuse to offer Fev, and try to get away with #3 and kennedy, then they might lose out to another combination. it probably won't happen, but what if hawthorn put franklin up? or essendon #6 and Lucas?

LOL, that is the worst trade ever, there is no way the egales would want that as a trade, and if it was offered would most likely deal with another club. There are about 6 clubs bidding for judd now so its pretty much an auction for him, which the highest bidder will win.
