Funny episode of My Name Is Earl tonight, with the great man trying to make something of his life by first getting a job, and then a promotion to the sales team.
The best part though was the spoof of the film Rudy, when Earl was about to give up after failing to secure $5K in sales by the Sunday deadline, and then gets the sermon from one of the dockers. It was almost the same sermon that Rudy (Sean Astin) got in the film , also given by the same actor Charles S Dutton!
Then all of the dockers offered to buy goods so that Earl could live the dream, just as all of Rudy's teammates offer their place on the Notre Dame team so Rudy could dress for a game before he graduated. And who was the boss/head coad...none other than Chelcie Ross.
