I think the Eagles fans are saying 3, 20 and Bower isnt enough for Judd alone. So we'd need to beat that. But Nicoski is clearly out of favour so will probably be available for nix anyway.

how about Pick 1 straight up swap for Judd? that seems fair to me.
Or whole about a 'Value Meal Deal", you can get Staker+judd, for say pick 1 and 20.

I'm sure we'll offer Bower/Kennedy (two of our young KPP guns) + pick 3. We won't kill ourselves to get Judd at the club - if the deal works out, fantastic, if not - well I'm sure Kreuzer, Morton and keeping our guns will keep us happy enough. :)
In my opinion you are all undervaluing Fevola. Fevola has played some great football this year and has easily been your best player. He obviously isnt as good as Chris Judd but he is the type of player you will need to be competitive next season.

i think the best trade would be pick 3, 20 and Kennedy(No.4) for judd and your second rounder.
You need KP forwards and Kennedy will be a gun!
I think a trade with fevola would be a waist of our time, why trade a player who kicks as many goals as your next best two put together? Plus a premiership can be built off a midfield like Judd, Stevens, Murphy, Simpson, Walker, Carrazzo and Gibbs giving the ball to Fev and Waite.
We have a wealth of good young talls and two that come from Perth!

For the 1000th time....PICK #1 CANNOT BE TRADED. It is against the AFL rules for a priority draft pick to be traded even if Carlton wanted to.
A best case scenario for us would be to secure Judd using pick 3 WITHOUT giving up Fev or Kennedy.
If WCE don't deal with us and Judd goes to Richmond for pick 2, we still win out as WCE will then likely take Cale Morton with pick 2, leaving us Cotchin at pick 3.
Surely WCE would want a WA kid at pick 2 so they don't have to worry about the go home factor.

I have read 1000's of posts on this thread today and no one denies that if someone really wants Judd they can throw the sink at the Eagles and it will impact the decision in some way.
What most people are debating is what will realistically happen - no one wants to undermine what plan they've got in motion, yet everyone will (or should) have a look. Its great. How exciting.

i am hanging out for judd to come to Carlton, two reasons,
1) he is an absolute gun,
2) he is a man of integrity seriously i dont think he would shaft them imo and if he did, would u want that sort of guy at the club???
we need guys with good charcter to build towrads a flag....
