You're bringing the pain back...
I can't watch the game.. it would be like watching an ex-gf get it on with your worst enemy

Kanga's are a good chance. Port are'nt as good as their made out to be. Should be a good game though. And yes, we should be playing today.

We shouldn't - we don't deserve to, but we could have.
Hope the Roos win.

Hawthorrn are a better side than North and could have been there but for some dodgey umpiring.
Seriously, Hawthorn needs to work out what is going wrong between themselves and the umpiring fraternity - they got belted in both finals in both the frees and decisive 50m penalties; had close to the biggest disparity in free kicks for and against for about the third season in a row; and seem to have ongoing issues with several of the individual umpires.
At the end of the day this is proving as decisive as having another gun player in the side. The arbitrariness, seemingly always against Hawthorn, of the umpiring is the difference in so many close games and in particular high pressure finals matches.

Last week was one of our worst games for the year, but we were still in it deep in to the game. Enter the over officious Umpires. Game over, nothing more to be said.

I hate Aaron Edwards, he looks like an arrogant primate!
Our form was so inconsistent in the second half of the season.. our best could have easily bought us a preliminary final...

Geez you could have at least made more of an effort than this mob. North should never have been in this position they're pretenders, would much rather have you guys there. Just think, surely north won't be there next year you guys should be alright :)

We only have ourselves to blame. We cannot keep losing to crap teams like the Kangaroos and think we're a good team. It's further proof of how much work is still to be done if we want to win a flag.

North have been flying under everyone's radar all season, and nobody has been taking them seriously ... until the finals when Geelong and Port pumped them. Our effort against them was seriously hopeless and it's something we have to adjust in 2008.

Agree. We lost it. Forget blaming the umpires. There always shit against Hawthorn.
We played as if we had already won. Concentrated on kicking to buddy and forgot the open goal square. We finished the year the same as we played in round 1. Shame but we will learn from it.
Dont forget to come to Bay 13 and express your admiration for the way Gold Coast played today..... just as a thank you for their kind words over the last week.
Happy ports smashing roos, After Tomopson called us a group of Thugs.
We could have put up a better fight than the Kangaroos against Geelong & Port. They have played crap football in finals. That Port game down is Tassie stuffed us, Goldspink had that all planned:rolleyes:
Whats happened to Boomer harvey? He's done nothing. Not their to support his team when they need it... & he's a Brownlow Favorite.
or well, Glad Port smashed Roos, They'll supply a great GF next week.
I hope the Cats win it though, Port haven't got my tip next week.

Triple M in Melbourne , sticking the boots in Daniel Wells,,,Frawley called him lazy, and will only go for the ball if he can win the contest...do we smell a trade, 7 possys for the game, I wonder if he really likes playing for Dean Laidley, he really hasnt fired a shot for a couple of seasons now.

I've been giving it to them on the game board all afternoon. I'm usually not that vindictive, but after the performance of the Roos supporters in this board last Saturday night, they deserve every bit of garbage that's coming to them.
BTW ... how much would the Roos have lost by today if they didn't posses that awesome "Shinboner Spirit"? What a crock full .. it's the AFL's equivalent to the Loch Ness Monster.

Today just proves the point that umpires have a major influence on game results. We would have put up a much better effort than that .Even though i firmly believe we were our own worst enemy last week in the skill department,it seemed everytime we looked like taking some control of the game it was handed to the Roos on a platter.I'm sure the players are just as aware as the crowd to the fact there getting a raw deal and frustration comes into it and it gets worse. We have to learn to deal with that better as a team.
