It'd be a good idea for us to pick him up at the end up year, looks like a good player....except for his kicking.

I've only seen him once and for whatever reason he reminds me of Peverill.

If we are looking at him then I'd say its curtains for Hocking because we can't have a list that contains Neville, Hocking, Pev, JJ, Watson.

Great. Just what we need.

He's only 50/50 to get drafed by EFC, because of his disposal.

If he has big game tomorrow, no doubt his stocks will soar.

shhhhhhhhhhh for gods sake we're keeping him under wraps, dont want the whole world to know, anyway he has a degenerative hip that will limit his career to only a few more years;)

Do you think Hocking is a better footballer with more to offer?

Hasnt impressed me so far today.

It was pretty hard for anyone on the Coburg side to impress today ;)
The reason clubs are looking at him is the simple fact that the bottom end of the draft will be very hit and miss. Expect clubs to be taking a punt on players like Neville in round 5 or 6 of the draft or the rookie draft.
I have never been a huge fan of him but i have to say he probaly has more upside than some of the kids playing TAC Cup that clubs would be looking at after pick 60.

Doesnt matter how bad the team are gong, a quality player should be able to hit targets 90% of the time. Neville did not.

So is he good or not?

All ill say, is he looks like he'd be a handy player at AFL level, but that's all. I myself would rather we go after someone like Jason Davenport from the Cattery. He is young, quick outside goal kicking midfielder with good skills, just needs to fix his kicking. But he's only been in the system for 4-5 years so i think that with a bit of help from an AFL club they'd really be able to focus on it and improve it.

Played better than Dyson did in his last VFL finlas game :p
Back to Neville , im not a real big fan but he will be better value than some of the youngsters at the end of the draft.I wouldnt take him in front of Hocking or Lonergan for that matter. No one was talking about Neville as some sort of star player/quality player anyway. He was being talked about as a late draft pick/rookie prospect.
Oh and you are asking a bit much with the 90%. I think you will find the better player are going at around 85% eff ;)

Davenport is on Geelong's rookie list and can be for next season as well so there is pretty much no chance of going after him this year.
