Game was a struggle. Pretty ordinary I thought, however the berg prevailed when many thought they would choke, so stick that in your pipe & smoke it.

game was ordinary, perhaps due to the conditions but as if heid give a crap about how` the game was played, they won again and it is up to other clubs to do something to catch them
maybe north can get back heatley, caddy, powell, jake king and leigh gray:)
it was strange watching a game of diamond valley (sorry, NFL) on the bigger preston city oval... it didn't really feel like DV footy, which is usually alot more harder and in tight, especially in a final... but the open spaces at cramer street created a much more open game that really lacked atmosphere...
it was a good idea to have the grand final there, but the game just really didn't benefit...

Who cares about Heidelberg anymore as long as Trevor Barrett is there they will always win the premiership. And also, apart from Blair Harvey there all a bunch of bighead wa nkas.
Are you nuts mate?
Blair is a mate but even i know that he is far from an angel and even further from being modest!!!!
think you might need more experience upncomer...
heart, sweat, blood, luck and tears win premieships not money although having the prince of pain make us the fittest team in the comp helps also!!!

i thought the preston ground was way better than that stupid epping ground.
The N.F.L should be held on a nutual ground.
The premiership is for the supporters that stick by clubs year after year after year.
most of the heidelberg players wont set foot in the clubrooms after they've finished and sadly thats just the way it is.
and that goes for a lot of teams.

Wake up to yourself how many players that played on sunday have been at the club longer than 5 years? Maybe five if your lucky.

You're both full of shit. Stop trying to sh*tcan them 24/7 when you obviously know nothing about the joint and accept they are the best club going around. Oh and for the record Cole Trickle:
Jake Williams
Nick Lowther
Blair Harvey
Michael Gay
Craig Whitbourne
Mark Favrin
Dale Nolan
Chris Hall
Marcus Dean
Stuart Laing
Matty Laing
Russell Lee
Dean Heydock

You have no clue do you. It's obvious you have an anti-Heidelberg agenda. All those blokes I mentioned have been there since 03 or longer, so it's not as if it's their first year. Maybe you should do your maths - if I arrived in 2003 I would be playing my fifth season this year so I don't buy into this "manufactured" flag rubbish. A FLAG IS A FLAG. You also forgot to mention players such as Jake Williams -who has a photo on the wall from the 1998 u'17's premiership, Dean Haydock won back to back bnf's in 00/01 he is an absolute stalwart of the club. Stinger arrived in 03, as did Mick Gay, Dale Nolan, Russ Lee, Marcus Dean and the like. All this talk of "buying flags" makes me sick. I think you're just bitter because you may not see Eltham beat Heidelberg in your lifetime. I've decided to give BIGFOOTY a rest for a while, see you gents in 08.
