Let's face it, Victoria will have NO players in the Aussie test team at the start of the season. Every other state will be represented, including Tas.

Are Vics concerned about this?

No doubt the Vic officials will do their annual bleat about superstars like White, Hodge, Hussey, Harwood, Lewis not being in the team, but let's face it, they're simply cr@p.

Hodge is the only one who has the talent to play international cricket, but yet again the other night he froze on the big stage. Definitely running out of chances, in fact his chance to nail down a Test spot is probably gone for good.

As for the domestic team.... middle of the road in every sense.

Teams like WA, NSW and Tassie will be up there this year... sadly for the Vics they're a long way off.

The Vics have been good on the domestic scene for the last 4 or 5 years. My state, SA, is suffering a crisis, the Bushrangers will be in contention for both the 4 day and 1 day comps no doubt about that.

Hodge is quality, and being from SA, it pains me to say it.

White will play in the ODI's, he will be a star in the future.

Has alot of Simmonds about him.

As for the tests, as much of a one-eyed Victorian i am, we dont deserve anyone, as we are all Australians, I would hope we picked the best available, regardless of state.

Is every one forgetting how much Hussey (David) Dominated for the vic towards the end of last season. If he can reproduce this again at the start of the domestic season he definatly will be looking at the Melborne and Sydney tests, also the Com Bank series!
