Great call, Roobunny.
I'm a huge, HUGE Rich Hall fan. The guy is ******* hilarious.
Kind of unhinged, but hilarious all the same.
EDIT: The George Foreman Grill. Watched that just this morning. Unfortunately, most of the Rich Hall clips I found on youtube were, like, 9 minutes long.

I used to work with Matt Hardy's brother.
Helluva nice guy.
I used to tell him that his brother sucked all the time.
He never argued.
Matt is a desperately unfunny man.

I thought Dave Hughes was very funny at the breakfast, but that might have been because the previous two 'comedians' weren't. But his monologue was pretty good, and his questioning of Costello (are you a good money manager or a tight arse) was funny too.

Great list RB. I've seen Ross Noble twice, he is terribly funny. Second time I saw him I sat in middle of second row. Terrifying. Didn't help that NM was playing Brisbane that night and I was trying to get scores via text - without anyone noticing - ended up inadvertantly sending a 'you bloody beauty' text to everyone in my address book (for the record we won). Got some interesting responses . . .

When he used to work on SEN, he used to think it was funny to mention names of footballers from the 70s and 80s... and that's it. No funny stories, just say their names.

Dave Hughes is ok, can go a bit overboard sometimes, overall hes pretty funny. Also Pete Hellier is quite funny, Especially when doing Strauchnie, but theres only so much of Stauchnie I can take.
Rove-not funny at all.

You think Strauchnie is funny?
I've laughed at him twice. At the EJ game this year and the Brownlow last year. Otherwise he just seems to say his name and that aint funny.

Theres only so much I can take of Strauchnie, as i stated in my post. Can get quite boring though.
Also Ive been turned off by Santo Cilauro as well, not as funny as he used to be. Seems to be a follower more these days, been turned off by his humor for the last few years.Age has wearied.
Not Funny:
Judith Lucy Occasionally good
Hamish Blake Disagree heartily
Andy Lee Fair enough.
Tony Martin Used to be good, but time has wearied him
Matt Tilley 50/50 More like 20/80. I loved him when he was Vernon though.
Jim Carey ( Now) Agree
Cal Wilson 50/50 Agree
Tim Smith Wholeheartedly agree
Will Anderson Possibly the best at using analogies. That is his only real strong point though.
Lehmo Agree. Yelling isn't funny Lehmo.
Rob Sitch See Tony Martin
Roseanne Arnold Fair enough
Dawn French 50/50 Agree

Will Anderson Possibly the best at using analogies. That is his only real strong point though. Got voted w@nker of the year last year in RALPH OR FHM ,along with other past winners, Mark Holden, and Kyle Sandilands
He's about as funny as a Ben Lee song, as funny as Britney Spears is a good mother!
My favourite would have to be Jimmy Carr.
Stephen K Amos is another one of my favourites. As well as Arj Barker (who i'm going to see next month :thumbsu:) and Ross Noble.

Dave Allen was a cracker but he's dead now.not funny anymore is it dave?
from living comedians
Demetri Martin is ace saw him last year at the festival with his powerpoint presentation.
Dane Cook is very good but some of his american references get lost on me.
Arj is pretty good i only rate him cause i met him before his show coming in and he spent a good 5 minutes talking to the group i was with.
Shaun Micalleff cant wait for his new show on sbs.
and there was this american who was really short and always wears a white shirt thats about 2 sizes to big for him.John something he does the routine about swans.
as for comedians i hate.
Judith Lucy most annoying voice ever,
The entire cast of Skithouse.
sexist it may be but only one female comedian has ever made me laugh named Megan Mooney and it was about 3 years ago.so every other female comedian.sorry gals.

Shaun Micallef he's a p1sser, but can go overboards sometimes, were he becomes bland. Can you remember his Fabio impersonation, " the most beautiful man in the world" and another character he played also on Fast Forward/Full Frontal Like Hunchback/Herman munster sort of charater was funny.
Gotta agree on female comedians, majority of them are not funny, most are male bashers, hang it on there husbands/partners/boyfriends and their children, which isnt funny, if the shoe was on the other foot well it would be different.
But I must admit, Rita Rudner has made me laugh and the Great Lucille Ball ( IMO the funniest woman of all time)

Dane Cook sucks! The one thing I will give him is he is charismatic and has good stage presence. But 99% of his material sucks. Just is not funny. Also, one of the most divisive comedians I've ever seen. People either think he is funny or hate him. And its not because of some abstract or artistic reason, either. Its because he isn't funny, but he is somehow hugely successful. Count me in the group that thinks he is not funny and pretty much hate him.

(Joke takes a while to kick in, but it's pretty funny when it does. "Fcuk you, old man !!")

Mitch Hedberg (RIP)
(Not all his jokes worked, but he packed so many of them into every peformance, he hit more than he missed. A nice touch of surrealism to his work. Great comic. Sadly missed.)

Eddie Izzard sits only behind Ricky Gervais as funniest man in the world.
Speaking of "My Super Ex Girlfriend", there is a scene, right at the end that gets me every time, and it is so goddamn simple. I don't want to give anything away on the film itself but Eddie is standing at the back of the room, someone references him and he says "What?". And thats all he says, but its in the delivery.
