View Full Version : Harbhajan lets loose at Australia
Did anyone see his comments on Fox Sports?
It's going to be on for young and old next match. :D

What were his comments?
I read an article in the Herald Sun this morning. He was saying the aussies swear to much at him and others when they are fielding. He is just having a sook and cant handle being sledged. He shud wipe away those tears wit his turban.
He also mentioned we dont like losing of course we dont we hate it and thats prbly y we have won the last 3 world cups and only lost 3-4 games (during the 99 campaign, unbeaten in 03 and 07) in the process.
What a sook the aussies rule and we r the best.

What he didn't like Hayden's comment about hitting one of his biggest 6's from his bowling? Certainly hung around after he got out before pulled away.
It's actually been entertaining to watch the banter between the Indians & Aussies. Less sterile than normal.

Where as we believe they're acting like pricks because they won the T20 World Cup (and actually behaved like it meant or proved something).

No they are not. Im not one myself but the comments were in bad taste. Its a bit like saying something about Australia's proud heritage - off the back of a convict ship (not much to be proud about there). Still, we all live in this country and respect it as it has given many the privilige of being in the luckiest country in the world. Doesnt mean we should be disrespecting other cultures. Oh, isn't it joyful that we're all so respectful & righteous when we want to be. Who cares about a little comment about someone's 'turban'.

And while I'm on the subject - who is it that christened Harbhajan with the nickname of 'The Turbanator'? Pretty sure it wasn't some racist Aussie.
Does a turban only hold cultural value when it suits? IE - 'Turbanator' OK; 'Cry into your turban' bad, very bad, in fact racist.
Deary me, It's all rather childish... "Ooooh you swore you naughty person" "Well you started it with the staring" "I'm telling Mr Umpire after you" "Go on then"

Wow, charming, you know no other way than to sound like a rude and uneducated fool? :D
Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth has done their fair share of mud slinging, and everytime the Aussies such as Symonds either return fire by saying they "lack humility" (Oh the irony) or Gilchrist discrediting their T/20 Cup win, or the pack of them arrogantly abuse and laugh at Singh when they got them out?
Would've pulled out more examples, too, they are not hard to find. Now, in your own words, would you mind getting a clue or shut the **** up?

Your snobbery is very charming. You use that often on the ladies?? I bet they are all over you like a bee on honey.
Anyway, where have Australians ever lacked humility?? They alwys win with grace and poise. Oh, and gilchrist did not discredit their cup win, he was just sick and tired of journalists asking about it. Especially in relation to the 50 over game- a completely different format. And howdo you know if they abused or laughed at Singh?? Have a mcrophone out did we?? Have super sensitive hearing?? Well if you do perhaps u can come oer to my house and eavesdrop on the neighbours for me. I'm pretty sure they are talking about me. But i'm not sure. Though with your super-duper strength hearing we will catch those bastards out!

If branding T/20 as a game of lottery where anybody can win it is not discrediting the Indians, then you need lessons in English comprehension.

It is a lottery, but it is not discrediting the Indians. Of course they did well to reach the final. But you need certain factors to go your way. Partnerships to work out, catches to be taken, tosses to be won, and your orders of bowlers. Besides Gilchrist did not discredit the Indian players. He congratulated them. But thought that their win was irrelevant to this current series.
Haven't seen the matches lately, have you?

When have we ever lacked humility or grace??
Talk about neglecting Ponting's boilover in the 2005 Ashes at Trent Bridge when he got ran out? Talk about him whinging about England's subs (Which's been happening for the whole summer but he chose to talk about it when he'was 2-1 down in the series). Talk about him constantly having a go at Lara putting personal milestones ahead of the team and did the same himself? Talk about Shane Warne's little stump dance back in 97? Talk about Ponting's constant abusing of the umps on the field (Bloody hell, even Gilchrist was doing it last match)

Talk about him constantly having a go at Lara putting personal milestones ahead of the team and did the same himself?

Talk about Shane Warne's little stump dance back in 97?
So you prefer players to act like emotionless robots??
Talk about Ponting's constant abusing of the umps on the field (Bloody hell, even Gilchrist was doing it last match)

Do you know how many times Australians get dissed about their convict heritage? But we dont give a shit, we just laugh it off.
The way the Indian cricket team were celebrating their T20 win i.e a HUGE ass celebration after their match like diving on each other, and a whole town parade, that was just poor poor form. Try winning a real touranment than you can have your parade.
The aussies didnt even make a big deal over their 3rd World Cup win in a row, and the Indians acted the way they did after a farce of a tournanment, where most teams didnt even care to bring their full squad. Now thats arrogance if you ask me.

Having a whinge about something irrelevant when you're 2-1 down in the series and behaving like a crazed man when you got run out is not the behaviour of a gracious individual. Unless your definition of the word is different to the rest of the world's, or Oxford dictionary's.
The reference to John Howard was an analogy, in case you don't get it

I'm not the one saying. Australian cricket team is evil..blah,blah,blah.
Again, you're making shit up, when have I even said that? Only a kiddo would start making crap up like that
boring
Such as you? :D

Seriously guys - grow up.
Now you're just trying to confuse yourself
No, I think you are confusing yourself.
I don't think you're on the same planet as we are then, if indeed that's what you think
No, that is wht he said.
Having a whinge about something irrelevant when you're 2-1 down in the series and behaving like a crazed man when you got run out is not the behaviour of a gracious individual. Unless your definition of the word is different to the rest of the world's, or Oxford dictionary's.
he wasn't whinging, he as expressing dissapointment. H did not act like a crazy man. He just felt aggrieved about what hapened.
The reference to John Howard was an analogy, in case you don't get it
It was a poor analogy.
Yes, right, you don't :D
I don't need to wear any glasses to know that Australia is the best.
Now now now, don't get all siege mentality and start thinking "Oh you're against us coz it's jealousy" type shit. I was merely pointing out the fact that both India and Australia has behaved appallingly, don't go off topic and start accusing me of something I never said.
My beef is that you stated that the Australians have responded with a lack of grace and humilty. My questions is: What the hell are you talking about??
Maybe I need to remind you of what we're actually talking about, or are you gonna turn this into another "Us against them who think we're all evil" type stupid shit?
I know what we are talking about. i'm just afraid you might go into one of ur crazy tangents.
Ponting whinging in the press and to the umps again and again?
Can't a player talk to an umpire??? And if a player has something he might want to raise in the press, then why can't he??
Pot kettle black?
What are you talking about??
You're trailing off topic and talk about something random again. Stay on the planet please. I already expressed my opinion on how the Australians should act, you don't need to make up random stuff and pretend that I said it when I haven't
Don't tell us Aussies how to act. Thnk you are better than us. how come we beat you 5-0 in the last Ashes Series??
Ooooooooooh I'm gonna have fun with this
I bet you are excited.:rolleyes:

So what?? That is just Ricky Ponting. Sure he gets a little hot under the collar every now and then. But who doesn't?? Besides those incidents were in the past. And how were they bad??? I mean dissent? What the hell is that??? is that when a stupid umpire who probably has never gotten laid in his life decides to report Ricky Pointing??
Were you on Pluto when it was a massive public topic about how Ponting's behaving so very poorly on the field and it even got CA and tell him to STFU?
Pointing has always played with grace and debonair.
Hell yes you are. By saying "I'm not" you contradict yourself further
You are not capable of understanding me because you are in ur own valiant brave england world. Tally ho, fight the war good chaps kind of thing.
Yes?
Npe
If you watched the footage, Singh's reaction was to their verbals. Then again, in your world Australia are a bunch of angels and their captain is never fined or reprimanded for poor behaviour, ever
How do you even know what they said?? Maybe it was just a bit of friendly cricket banter. Oh, and you are right. They are angels. More so than the England team.
Now you're just rambling on about random crap again. What are you on about?
You know what i'm taking about. Getting all hoity toity cause you own a suit!!
Again, you're making shit up, when have I even said that? Only a kiddo would start making crap up like that
With the personal insults again. Why are you doing this to me?? By the tone of ur writing it seems to me that you think that the australian cricket team should be shot at dawn. Is that because you are jealous that we win all the time???
Such as you? :D
I'm much more exciting than you.

No, I think you are confusing yourself.
And we all know what you think is wrong most of the time, judging by what you have said in this thread
No, that is wht he said.
He said hell lot more than that and you know it
he wasn't whinging, he as expressing dissapointment. H did not act like a crazy man. He just felt aggrieved about what hapened.
Ha, so pointing at someone's dressing rooms and his coach and doing a full on verbal is "expressing disappointment" in your eyes. I see, so I guess when there's a melee on at the footy, you'd be calling that "communicating diplomatically"?
Stop embarrassing yourself, just admit you were wrong to say the Aussies always act with humility and grace.
It was a poor analogy.
Only poor because it didn't work for you, and it was true
I don't need to wear any glasses to know that Australia is the best.
That statement alone is proof enough that you are wearing green and gold tinted glasses
My beef is that you stated that the Australians have responded with a lack of grace and humilty. My questions is: What the hell are you talking about??
Do you have a 3 second memory span? I have stated examples of the poor behaviour by the Australians in this series, which you've promptly ignored or dismissed because you love Australia so much that you would never admit that they have behaved wrongly
I know what we are talking about. i'm just afraid you might go into one of ur crazy tangents.
Oh the irony
Can't a player talk to an umpire??? And if a player has something he might want to raise in the press, then why can't he??
Pointing at an umpire's face with a furious and animated look to express your opinion on him and his decisions is not exactly what you call a normal "talk to an umpire"
Criticising an umpire in the press is a breach of the ICC code of conduct, if you do not know that, which I suspect you don't
What are you talking about??
Unfamiliar with that expression? I'm not surprised
Don't tell us Aussies how to act. Thnk you are better than us. how come we beat you 5-0 in the last Ashes Series??
Are you deluded or are you assuming I'm a Pom when I definitely am not? You are just totally off the track now, are you not?
I'm sorry that you are unable to look at a matter objectively without your green and gold tinted glasses and bias. If the Australians have behaved poorly then they have behaved poorly and I will say it. That is call objectivity, but that's useless to you since you're anything but
I bet you are excited.:rolleyes:
I'm excited at exposing your ignorance and delusion
So what?? That is just Ricky Ponting... blah blah blah excuses excuses
........ So........ Happy to admit you were wrong to say Australians always act with humility and grace? If you think abusing an umpire is "an act of humility and grace", then you are truly hilarious
Pointing has always played with grace and debonair.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I dunno if that is as delusional as anything Romeo's ever said about Kevin
Pietersen.
You are not capable of understanding me because you are in ur own valiant brave england world. Tally ho, fight the war good chaps kind of thing..
I'm sorry for you that you think anyone who dares to say anything negative about Australia is a Pom. That's just a stupid assumption that only kids use.
Besides, this was never a nation again nation topic, don't use the race card here and stay on topic: Do Australians always act with humility and grace, still?
How do you even know what they said?? Maybe it was just a bit of friendly cricket banter. Oh, and you are right. They are angels. More so than the England team.
That's right, when Indians do the same thing, they're behaving poorly, and when Australia does the same thing, it is friendly banter. I see your non-double standards very clearly.
You know what i'm taking about. Getting all hoity toity cause you own a suit!!
Are you okay? Need a cold shower? Coz you are really rambling on about random shit now, with the Pommy rubbish and all
With the personal insults again. Why are you doing this to me??
Because you begin with it by telling others to "shut the **** up" like a true hooligan?
By the tone of ur writing it seems to me that you think that the australian cricket team should be shot at dawn. Is that because you are jealous that we win all the time???
1. Only a poor judge ignore words and phrases and look at the "tone", which is ambiguous at best.
2. Are you using your "AUSSIES WIN ALL THE TIME SO YOU CAN'T CRITICISE US, SHUT UP" card? That's normally what people resort to when they run out of ideas. Are you still not gonna admit you were utterly and pitifully wrong on the Australians always acting with humility and grace shit?
I'm much more exciting than you.

Ha, so pointing at someone's dressing rooms and his coach and doing a full on verbal is "expressing disappointment" in your eyes. I see, so I guess when there's a melee on at the footy, you'd be calling that "communicating diplomatically"?
That is different and you know it. One ws Ricky Pointing expressing verbal dissapointment. That incident with the melee wouldbe physical and therefore unacceptable.
Stop embarrassing yourself, just admit you were wrong to say the Aussies always act with humility and grace.
just admit you are wrong to say that the aussies resnded with a lack of humilty and grace. Whatever the hell that means.
Only poor because it didn't work for you, and it was true

Ohhh. I'm sorry cooldude. Perhaps next time when you are writing your 800th letter to Cricket Australia you can ask them to pass along a message to Ricky Ponting to bow net time he wants to speak to those precious umpires??
Criticising an umpire in the press is a breach of the ICC code of conduct, if you do not know that, which I suspect you don't
Like i said, the ICC is full of precious old farts who would be better off taking the needle.
Unfamiliar with that expression? I'm not surprised

Are you deluded or are you assuming I'm a Pom when I definitely am not? You are just totally off the track now, are you not?
No. I think you are off the track. it is clear to me that you lv in england and support the poms. No true aussie would utter the bile you do.

What i have said is right. What you have said is wrong.
Your delusion knows no bounds, it seems
No. he said 'Play the game properly'.
He bloody said more than that
That is different and you know it. One ws Ricky Pointing expressing verbal dissapointment. That incident with the melee wouldbe physical and therefore unacceptable.
You are a fool if you think arrogantly telling an umpire that he is unfit to be in the job that he has (And Ponting has been caught saying that by the stump mics) is expressing disappointment
just admit you are wrong to say that the aussies resnded with a lack of humilty and grace. Whatever the hell that means.
I have provided examples of the Australians' poor behaviour to back my point, you have provided nothing more than your bias and "AUSSIE WINS ALL TIME YOU JEALOUS!?!?!??!!", so perhaps you need to admit defeat and know that you are wrong
You are right it did not work wit me because it was such a stupid analogy.
As stupid as you suggesting Australia always behaves with humility and grace?
You are wrong.
Keep saying that, perhaps when you say it enough, you can convince yourself. Only yourself though
Very poor examples.
Yeah, I agree. They're very poor examples to other cricketers on how a cricketer, particularly the captain of his nation, should behave.
Unless it's to a die hard Australian fan. He'll just dismiss it with "FRIENDLY BANTER WE WIN ALL TIME BAAAAAAA" type of shit
Humility and grace........... haahaha that is a rofl comment, seriously
What. your the one with the crazy tangents.
Saying the Australians behave with grace and humility all the time would've been enough to send someone to the nuthouse, I thought
Ohhh. I'm sorry cooldude. Perhaps next time when you are writing your 800th letter to Cricket Australia you can ask them to pass along a message to Ricky Ponting to bow net time he wants to speak to those precious umpires??
No need, CA has already branded Ponting's behaviour as unacceptable. Only a fool like you would be in denial over it.
Like i said, the ICC is full of precious old farts who would be better off taking the needle.
That's about the most sensitive thing you've ever said by a long way, but regulations are regulations and to not be critical of an umpire's performance in public is only a logical and correct rule. Something Ponting cannot seem to help himself with violating though
No. I don't understand what you are talking about. Could you be a little more clearer?
I'm afraid judging by your intellectual capacity, even drawing diagrams and pictures might be beyond your understanding.
Your delusion knows no bounds, it seems
your denial knows no bounds, pommy buddy. :)
He bloody said more than that
No he did not.
You are a fool if you think arrogantly telling an umpire that he is unfit to be in the job that he has (And Ponting has been caught saying that by the stump mics) is expressing disappointment
It is. He was expressing dissapointment that the umpire was too unfit to umpire such a crucial game.
I have provided examples of the Australians' poor behaviour to back my point, you have provided nothing more than your bias and "AUSSIE WINS ALL TIME YOU JEALOUS!?!?!??!!", so perhaps you need to admit defeat and know that you are wrong
So one player represents one australian? Besides, I am winning.
As stupid as you suggesting Australia always behaves with humility and grace?
What is stupid about the truth??
Keep saying that, perhaps when you say it enough, you can convince yourself. Only yourself though
I'll convince more people than you, old mate! :)
Yeah, I agree. They're very poor examples to other cricketers on how a cricketer, particularly the captain of his nation, should behave.
So how should they behave?? By bowing??
Unless it's to a die hard Australian fan. He'll just dismiss it with "FRIENDLY BANTER WE WIN ALL TIME BAAAAAAA" type of shit
It is friendly banter. You, as a pom, as a blue blooded royal British citizen, have to accept that my dear old friend.
Humility and grace........... haahaha that is a rofl comment, seriously
We do always act with humility and grace.

They dbehave with grace and humility all the time.
No need, CA has already branded Ponting's behaviour as unacceptable. Only a fool like you would be in denial over it.
They only said that to satisfy the conservative media.
That's about the most sensitive thing you've ever said by a long way, but regulations are regulations and to not be critical of an umpire's performance in public is only a logical and correct rule. Something Ponting cannot seem to help himself with violating though

No. I think you are off the track. it is clear to me that you lv in england and support the poms. No true aussie would utter the bile you do.
You are as foolish a man (or woman, or both, or even an animal) as I have talked to. To assume one's nationality base on one's opinion on a subject is the perfect example of a true hooligan and signs of ignorance. For your information, I am an Aussie, but I happen to be one who sees things objectively and know what is poor and what is good
If a true Aussie is one that would accept any Australians abusing umpires, verbaling opponents, angrily gesturing at an opposition dressing room, and also use possibly racist terminology to determine why someone who have a particular opinion, then I want no part in it. You are probably those people on the Bay 13 who throws racial abuse at the Indians or South Africans, too

It is. He was expressing dissapointment that the umpire was too unfit to umpire such a crucial game.
You are a fool, it is called criticism, it is called berating and belittling an umpire's position. If a Pom did it I bet you'll go all angry over those "Disrespectful Pommys", you bias little so-and-so
So one player represents one australian? Besides, I am winning.

It is friendly banter. You, as a pom, as a blue blooded royal British citizen, have to accept that my dear old friend.

They only said that to satisfy the conservative media.
In your own deluded little world they have. CA has supported their players' behaviour in the past when they're worth supporting. When they've not supported them it is when they are truly behaving appallingly, but of course, in your deluded little Aussie world, it's all propaganda
like Nazi regulations are regulations??
And you call me for using poor analogy? :D Pot kettle black (A phrase that you, unfortunately, are not unfamiliar with)
