OK Figjam, (or anybody)

I was hoping you could tell me why Rhys Shaw seems to have fallen away since showing a bit of flair in 2000. I thought he had some similar attributes to his old man.

Adkins has had injury as an excuse... what is wrong with Shaw?
Not good enough?

Cheers

nah, like David Flair..

Shaw aint that good, and he's really a VFL player. He showed potential 2 years ago running off half back like a Rory Hilton, but hasn't put that potential into the Seniors.

Im dissapointed not to see Adkins make a comeback after Osteitos Pubis, ive got a bad feeling his career has been ruined by the injury.

Shaw has been injured of late (leg injury), but he wont make the grade in my opinion anyway. His footskills are sub-standard and his supposed pace doesn't help him much in the bigger leagues. He is only slightly better than Wasely. Great skills make great players, not pace! Should be one of the players gone at year end, but maybe we can pick him up as a rookie!?

Adkins has always been a little overrated by our supporters, given his good early start in 2000. His 2001 OP has meant that that good opinion has been maintained. His disposal by foot is often poor, but not in the Dima/Shaw category!
