Are injuries a legitimate excuse for us this year?

Lockett - if he wasn't injured after halftime in round 1, he might have contributed alright and worked up some form - you never know.

kelly - the team has lacked heart even with PK on the paddock.. WITHOUT him...

Ball - our #1 ruck from last year hasn't played a game. how useful he would be right now

Heath James - Not a bad talent, this kid. unfortunately he will probably go the way of fitzy

We've had Schaubes, Dunks, Warfe all missing for periods... Micky O....

mind you, it doesn't explain the general efforts!!

A-It's a problem but all clubs have to cope with it.

A-True , but Warfe was missing for much of last year and Dunkley will retire this season , so we should have planned to cover their absences.
Whether it'd have made a huge difference, I don't know, but yes we have missed Jason Ball and lately Leo Barry.

A-Agreed

The simple truth is that our list , due to lack of skill or lack of experience , is not good enough.
Still , trimming it will be easy , as Schwass , Lockett , Dunkley ,Daffy and probably Kells will go at the end of the year.

got to make some of the hard decisions pretty soon, I think.
