Well the 2007/2008 NTFL season kicks off (sorta) on the 5th of October when all 8 teams enter the umpires carnival.

Interesting to see that TEAFA club Casino Sharks have failed to put a team in.

Yep sure. It is the last day today with St Marys and Tiwi Islands the form teams in the NTFL division.

Tiwi Bombers 14-17.101 def St Marys 1-5.11 in final!
Not sure who won the medal but in the Community final Santa Terresa defeated Tiwi Islands 2nd side by about 4 goals!

Santa Teresa beat Tiwi Community by 41 points in the final. They will be playing at the Dreamtime at the 'G' match next year I believe.

Big win by Tiwi Bombers against St Marys. I expected them to win the carnival and start their season off good. It will be interesting to see how they go in the rematch this week with St Marys.
