Interesting how many non-Essendon supporters (even Carlton ones) are liting Hird as the best. :)

James Hird is the greatest player I've ever seen.
He never failed to amaze and excite giving you the feeling that as long as Jimmy was playing, we could beat anyone, anywhere.

With all due respect for the other guys, there's no way I could go past him!

When the first reply is "Hird was a pain in the ass" I don't want to give them the satisfaction of sticking around long enough to vote.

Yes yes I know they're not all like that. But us showing up and voting for Hird is pointless.
