Interesting read in todays Herald Sun, starting to look like the deal will be done sooner rather than later

Good read, and alot of positive signs, first time i have heard west coast ref to Josh as a good player, Really hope the deal is done on monday, and then both clubs can go and get on with any other exchanges they have in mind.
Given that Paul Connors has come out and said that he wants it done by Tuesday, then I reckon that will be the day it will be done. Two more sleeps people.

That article actually doesnt say the eagles are weakening on the 1st pick though??

ye they are saying that they realise carlton aren;t gna give it up and are going to have to settle for pick 3 and player.

Not said directly - but it's a far cry from Nisbett's previous stand of pick 1 or no Judd. Read b/w the lines: "a combination of picks and players will do." Note: no mention of pick 1.

Probably not the best thing to read.

Exactly. If they're going to screw over Judd and not trade him to the club of his choice, then he'll screw them over and just go into the PSD anyway.
But it's funny in the article how it also goes on to say how Nisbett said Judd doesn't want to go to Richmond.

It has to suit Juddy as well and somehow I can't see that it would :rolleyes:
Good that Eagles are keen on JK.
I like Kennedy and am happy to keep him, but if he's the one we have to lose to secure the deal (given pick 3 alone's probably not enough) then so be it.
