Banished from ODI's. Discuss.

Only reason I can think of for still playing him is to give us an excuse to leave him out of the Test team.
Rubbish ODI player.
As a Victorian, I'd gladly take him back for domestic duties.
Hope he plays the next match.
Give him a chance, guys. ;)

Yeah I like watching him play for Victoria too really performs for us but is not up to ODI standard he's just playing for himself out there. Might be able to cut it in the Test arena but get him out of the ODI team please!

Think he might join Ramnesh Powar on the sidelines... they might hit up a few buffets :o

I'd give Voges a go instead of him, couldn't do much worse.

Very selfish batting, doesn't play his natural game. Was unfairly banished from the Test team and just when it looked like he had a big opportunity to make a name for himself as an ODI player, he blew it with scratchy, ordinary performances under pressure.
We'll have him back at Victoria thanks.

I feel sorry for him, but compassion alone isn't a good enough reason to play in the national team.
Back to Victoria with you and thanks for coming.
The poor guy can't win. He'd cop just as much abuse going out trying to keep the pressure on India by attacking from the start. Ah well, the Test side will just have to do!
Australia lost because they conceded 39 extras and Bracken going for 20 off his last over not because of Hodge.
There were other reasons why we lost but Hodge's batting was a liability.

As long as they banish him and send him home before Sunday so we can truly humiliate the redbacks, although it might be more fun winning by an innings with our 2nd XI :D

In the form he is i'm sure the redbacks would like him back home as well. :o

Shit under pressure, but at least we're able to hide him in the middle order. In that sense, he's no where near as bad as Katich at the top of the ODI batting order.
He probably lost us the game yesterday, but just remember, we all need a whipping-boy. If he gets dropped who do we attack? Pup?

Hodgey was painful to watch last night and that is coming from someone who actually has some time for his ability....

Only a Vic would have that mentality.
