we need a good sized in and under mid, which hadley is.
Would be a great addition to the half back line. Could potentially play something similar to Peter Dean.

Pick #1 is safe. So we've won big time. :)

I'm a bit worried about the rumours with Fisher/Walker involved. Do you think they are realistic?

nope won't happen
3, JK plus swap of later round draft picks

No. Highly doubt it. The Weagles have acknowledged that we have all the leverage. That article said that the Weagles had already spoken with JK, and he was warming to the idea to play for them. If we really wanted to play hardball, we could just offer pick #3, but pick #3 and JK should clinch it. Although they'll probably throw in a pick swap I guess. Walker and Fisher are just such an important part of our future. :)
I am going to hate to see JK go...
But at the end of the day... if he doesnt like it at the weagles, in a couple of years when his contract expires for them, he can come back to us :D
And it is good that we stood firm on pick 1... a couple of years ago, we would have allowed pick 1 to go because we were weak as piss...
Now we have some serious balls to go with the attitude...

Exactly. Every time i hear them mentioned in a trade I cringe at the thought of them in another teams jumper.

If you can manage to wing a deal involving the game's best player and not give up the first pick in the draft in the process despite it being yours, well, thats a win no matter which way you look at it.

Walker's development is just going to boom next year with Judd around, and Ratten as coach. In fact you could imagine all our young midfielders to be absolutely delighted by Judd's arrival. :)

As they should be. They get the chance to play and train with the best in the business. A new benchmark for them will be set by Judd which is great news for the club.

You'd think with Swann's comments tonight that we are more than likely to see Juddy in navy blue tomorrow. Can't wait.

I literally can't sleep mate. So pumped.

I think that they will do the deal tomorrow (today in Australia) and announce it Wednesday morning when Judd gets back to Melbourne.
Wednesday sounds more likely now, given that the announcement probably won't happen until Judd is back in Melbourne, which I have also heard is Wednesday.
Another endless day and sleepless night!

Talented bloke, great fast bowler that had an amazing outswinger that used to knock Dean Jones over all the time.
