I see Hawthorn have expressed interest in Shannon Watt.

I propose:

You send us your 2nd rounder and we exchange first rounders.

This works well for North, as we finished higher above Hawthorn on the ladder, and thus, they have a better draft pick.

We finished higher because we didn't choke in Rd22 and we beat them in the semi final.

For BomberMike, an artists impression of Essendon's 2008 season. Enjoy.

And on Shannon Watt. He will be 27 next season so I don't think he qualifies for the Hawks rebuild strategy at the moment.

If it wasn't you mate I would've thought somebody was being sarcy...:D My mum accidently made a better composition in PhotoShop when she was trying to boil the kettle... (Come on Hawks-haters, you can do a hell of a lot better than that!)

Hey Bomber mike... Are you STILL latching onto any possible excuse to have a little kiddy jab at Hawthorn???

I'm not in slightest annoyed to be honest, I think its fantastic - if not a little sad - how much energy you put into Hawthorn! :)

I'm not gonna stoop to yr level and bag the Bombers, its just to easy! And besides that, I don't really care about them..

Go Hawks. Go Tassie! :thumbsu:

On topic, I think Pelchen has already discarded the possibility of getting Watt, thank god...

Very nice technique of using a trade rumour to bag the Hawks though SLF! You are def getting more creative... Do you know how to use Photoshop?:)

You have an older team than us. ;) He'll fit in nicely at Launceston & Mulgrave.

Pilchard couldn't spot talent if it hit im in the face.
All he's drafted are big headed little boys who don't have any guts and run to their mummy when the going gets tough.

Surely we're not going to fall for that one- North is Hawthorns dumping ground, not the other way round....

I wouldn't want any players from North. It would take to much effort to get them over the Stockholm Syndrome.

How about you give us shannon watt, and your first round pick, and we'll give you a piece of soggy toast. Sounds about par for our trading history :thumbsu::)

Kangaroos would see that as a pretty good deal ..

Judd would have fitted in perfectly then.

Shannon WATT.. WHAT!!!!!!!!!
Alongside Kepler Bradley and Coutney Johns, he would be right up there for the worst player in the league..

2007 - Kangaroo's average age is 24.1, while Hawthorn's average age is 23.3.

And besides, we hear Watt wants to work on his tan next year so he would want to play as many Gold Coast games as he possibly could.:)

Be careful, though. If this deal goes thru, they'll play the soggy toast at full back for 6 weeks, realise he's no good and then complain that we should've told them it was soggy before they drafted it....

Then we will get told that we are a breeding ground for soggy toasts...

It's deja vu, I tell ya. :thumbsu:

I propose we give North 4x 1st round picks for Watt.

Will go some way to evening up our recent trade history with them, and maybe then some of their supporters can move on.

...the Hawks had been linked to Kangaroos' full-back Shannon Watt but Pelchen said on Monday the Hawks were not interested in securing Watt.
He's your dud, you keep him.
