Vanders...Age 19
At Work/In Car Music = Fox Fm mostly
Nova 100 when theres a song i dont like on the Fox
Triple M when theres nothing i like on either of the other two channels, although everytime i turn it on to MMM Silverchair seems to be on.
Melbourne
Footy = dont listen to it on radio, only go and watch it or watch it on tv
News/Sports = whichever station i have it on at the time
Other = Gold 104 every now and then, i love old songs!!
None really.
Strictly tapes in the car, and CDs at home. If I am driving to work in peak hour, I might try to tune into GOLD104 for a traffic report if it's close to the quarter/half hour.
Footy - usually Triple M, but I don't listen to full broadcasts, just keep it tuned to the station so I can get scores/descriptions now and then, in between tapes in the car and CDs at home.
I like the metal shows on PBS, the best of which is Screaming Symphony (Power Metal show) which has been moved to Tuesday night, but I usually forget that it's on. :(
age - 25
well, my sh1tbox doesnt have a cd player, and the cassette deck is stuffed...
so.. on the way to work... its always breakfast with Merrick & Rosso on nova...
then i usually switch over to triple-J for the rest of the morning and afternoon in the car...
other than that.. dont listen to anything else really..

I listen to Triple M for footy, the only other time I really listen to the radio is on breaks and lunch at work, and we usually have it on Nova or Fox.

At work, all we get to listen to is that haven of music variety MIX 101.1. Some people may knock it, but I say that listening to Kasey Chambers' 'Not Pretty Enough' for the 4949th time in 30 days is just as entertaining as listening to it for the first time.
Footy - Listen to 3AW for its pre-match, especially on Saturdays. Don't listen to radio calls of matches as much as I used to, but when I do, I'd switch between 3AW and 3LO
News - Newsradio ABC - think the frequency is 1026 AM

Listen to bugger all radio, really. The radio at work has Star FM Wagga going while I'm there.
Listen to a few net radio stations though, generally hardradio.com (from where I got my first sig line), KNAC.com, or KSJO.com, all hard rock/metal stations.
Pete age 24
At Work/In Car Music = At work=Nova 100, In car=Triple R 102.7
Footy = 3LO or Triple M (but I'm normally there or watching on telly)
News/Sports = Nup. Music.
Other = Gold FM when I need something familiar. During April most years there used to be a comedy station on about 99.9 or something here in Melb. That was cool....24/7!

At Work/In Car Music = 882 3YB... Mum won't let me change it. If I can though, I listen to Triple M. (ie, when I drive. Driver gets the final say :D)
Footy = 3AW...through 981 3HA, or 882 3YB.
News/Sports = Local radio stations...106.3 Mix FM, 3YB, 3HA.
Other = For music and stuff, generally, when I'm in my room, I listen to Triple M.
Carlos: 26 Melb
Only show i listen to regularly is Sports today on 3AW between 6 and 8pm Mon to Thurs.
When i'm up ealry driving the missus to work at 6am and then back home to get an early start on some work on the home PC, i listen to "the big sports breakfast" on 927 between 5.30am and 9am Mon to Fri.
I play in a cover band, so unfortunately it is necessary to touch base occasionally with commercial FM radio to see what music people are being subjected to. So if i must, then MMM and Nova (cannot force myself to listen to Fox or 101.1) are usually a goer. Triple R's Hard Report between 10 and 12am on Sunday nights is essential listening usually. Dont mind Triple J's 3 hours of power either.
For footy, on Friday's i switch between MMM and AW for prematch, and then AW for the call of the game (when i listen)
Saturday's 3LO is outstanding for prematch, then switch between all of them, mostly stating on AW for the call.
Sunday i'm sleeping unless North is playing.

Radio Shark...
Sure.

They are both great stations if you like classic rock. Actually, it might be a good idea for you. Given the time zone differences you would be listening to our night time air play when there is mostly just music, and the DJ's shut the hell up. Just be sure not to take our weather reports seriously. We are beginning our Summer in the North Hemisphere. ;) Peace,

Car - Mainly Fox Fm, I switch it to Nova if there is a song i dont like on the Fox
Footy - Usually Triple M, 3AW if i get sick of listening to Sam Newman
News/Sports - 3AW
For football, I listen to which ever station is covering the game I'm interested in. I generally find most of the coverage from the various radio stations entertaining, and wouldn't necessarily rate one better than the other.
Waking up in the morning, I listen to ABC Classic FM (106.5).
Apart from that, when listening to the radio at other times I usually station-surf between JJJ, RRR, PBS, 3AW, 3LO, Gold, and MMM.
