Hawthorn
Hawthorn has refused to comment on whether any of its players, namely Tim Boyle, have figured in discussions with other clubs on day two of trade week.
On Monday, general manager player personnel and strategy Chris Pelchen said the club "certainly won't be trading them at this stage", but Boyle's name continues to circulate as a potential mover regardless.
"I'd prefer not to comment [on Boyle] at this point in time. I'd prefer not to comment on all of them, in fact," general manager football operations Mark Evans told afl.com.au on Tuesday.
"The problem we have is, 95 per cent of things that get mentioned never come to fruition, so there's no point talking about them until there is anything decent on the table.
"We'll just be happy to get through the week and see where we go. I'm not really keen to give a comment on it at all."
Interesting that Evans says he prefers not to comment on ALL of them!
I wonder what offers were thrown around??
