View Full Version : If you were looking for a General to lead your army, would you choose a wimp who hid in every battle

Essendon are in dire straits at the moment and already evolving into the AFL's newest Richmond.

So why, oh why, would they choose one of the AFL's softest, most cowardly wimps, who is one of the reasons Richmond hasn't achieved jack shit in the last 25 years.

They sack one of (if not) the greatest coach of all time, in an embarrassingly pathetic and disrespectful display of loyalty, and then replace him with the village idiot?

This is a conspiracy I tell you?

Well I guess when your captain is Harry Highpants and he runs away at the first sign of trouble it isn't fair to expect that you will attract a coach with any cred. Knights and Lloyd are a pair of jibs. It's a match made in heaven.

Based on how correct H2F was right during the season, Knights is going to turn out to be an awesome coach who makes a tough team - physically as well as mentally.

whats that have to do with how he's positioned right now, you knob. The only problem thru his time at Richmond was we never had enough players like him.....In case you failed to realise it aint the 70s anymore where 4 goals in a GF and Norm smith was enough to have every club beating down the door to coach....when it comes down to tin tacks its the ability the vision, ability to lead and manage ...did you ever wonder why...Ratten, Bailey and Harvey were all chosen ahead of sheedy...Grow a brain and think long and hard before amking cheap broadsides, says more about u than the intended message

Nah, the word Hindenburg comes to mind, so Blimp is appropriate. Essengone is soon to be an ex-Blimp on the radar.

Has anyone noticed how 'Harry' Lloyd loves picking off players half his size, then strutting around like King Kong. I remember him doing it to Adam Selwood this year. However if a player his own size takes it up to him he hoists his shorts up to his armpits (is that a nervous tick or what>?) and runs away.
