Schneider is a mid....but knows how to kick goals, which is something our mids struggle to do. The kid is hard and finds the pill, but he has had some hammy problems.

I'm not sure they will move them along, but word has it they are out there for possible trade. I say we see what they're asking and try and snare one or both. :D

Throw the keys to Waverley at them. First and second rounder and a player enough? Maybe throw in Jude Bolton and we will give them a sweetener :)

I would seriously look at them.Slot straight into Dixon's spot and plenty of years left in them.:thumbsu:

Nah, Dixon's spot will go to Willo. Chuck Schneider on the HFF/Wing and Buchanan can run on the ball. Hell make them Captain and VC :D

Haha! Now, what would we be willing to give to Sydney for them?

Most of us have acknowledged that we nedd a crumbing forward. If Adam Schneider is on the market, you seriously look at him. And I mean seriously look at him. He's quick, clever, young, can be rotated through the midfield, wins his own ball and is a proven goalkicker. What more are we looking for in a small forward/midfielder?

Spot on. Would be a fantastic player to snatch.

Dear Mr Pelchin,
We are in desperate need of a cheeky, clever and quick forward to assit our forward line development with Roughy Buddy Thorp Dowler and Willow all set to be the high flyers in the next 7 years at our club.
Adam Schneider would be the perfect fit.
He comes with a great background of playing under Paul Roos and would assist with the professionalism required at our club. He has a thumping left foot and pace and would be perfect at the feet of our talls.
I know i will get shot down by the supporters for this but i would put Boyle up for trade for him. I believe the Swans would love Boyle with Hall and Oloughlin not getting any younger while Schneider could give us 5 years of great service.
Anyway good luck and lets get him.

Damn hard to argue with - are the Swans seriously looking to offload these guys? You'd have to ask why? Is there something we don't know about making them expendable (injuries/attitude etc)? Something doesn't make sense here to me.

Quick, skillful, goal kicking, hard running, hard nuts with two grand finals under their belt and premiership medallions around their neck. All gained while playing within a successful and disciplined culture under Paul Roos.
Yes please:)

If reports are true and Bolton, Buchanan and Schneider are on the market, I would go hard for Bolton and Schneider. Bolton is very good contested possession type player and Schneider would give us the small forward that we need plus pace through the midfield as we can run him through there too.
Would give - Boyle, first and second round pick plus an Ossie or another fringe mid (Tuck or Muston preferably). Would want Pelchen to trade for another first round pick to get back into the draft. Not sure what we could trade to get that done though.

hahhaa i always think that as well do the clubs know something we don't
some players do asked to be traded though and with swans players i think there will always be honesty between coach and player.
Fabulous

Both were in Sydney's top 10 when they played but they were also disciplined for indiscretions during the year.
If they are available take the risk and I'll drive the bus up there to pick them up.

Only if we straight swap him for one of our boys. Ladson/osbourne/Boye???
I'd prefer not to use pick 12 and I'm sure Sydney would prefer at least a player.
I wonder how last years 'Everitt' debacle will come into play??

before we all get ahead of ourselves, because they are 2 players the hawks would love to have...does anybody know if pelchin and the hawks have spoken to sydney relating these two guys, and if they are infact up for trade bait?

Don't know if we have spoken to Sydney about these guys yet but The Age reported today that these two are up for discussion.

Schneider is among my most hated AFL players. He does have premiership experience but he is another left footer who uses the right leg for balance only.

disagree with the above posts,
schneider is a tough mid/foward who knows how to find the ball and kicks goals. I could see a definate spot for him as a crumbing foward.

Oh Hedgehodgey, don't do that. Hodgey wouldn't like you leaving the club, mate.
Anyway it's not worth giving up your membership over the likes of Schneider.

Wow that's disappointing :( Bargain for the Saints, but poor Sydney, tad ripped off methinks. Schneider would've slotted in very nicely.

Unconfirmed yet, but announced on 10.
Hopefully we can get a deal struck early tomorrow, and get a higher second round pick to get him from under the saints' noses :thumbsu:

Nope. Anyway now Schneider has gone. They have already given away 2 players, Schneider & Bolton, they will be a bit dumb to give away Buchanan. 2 big names in their team have gone, they won't want to lose Buchanan too.
