The Tigers are making a play for this kid. Offering $500,000 for 3 years.

He's only 19, 177cm and played 8 games this year kicking 8 goals.
I was really impressed with his endeavour and determination when he played against the Hawks a couple of months ago!

Should we have a crack??

Lol - he's a Tambling clone and the Tigers are offering him more than they're paying Tambling?

Wear did tambling play before being drafted?

Why was he rated so highly?

If we want any small forward, this guy has got to be it:

- True lightning: unbelievably quick

- Sense for the goals: very surprised to hear he only kicked 8 goals from 8 games this year, as I distinctly remember him kicking a bag of 4 and a bag of 3.

- Quoted in an article as saying he loves to tackle

- Only 19

Issues are:

- Kneed Ladson in the face...animosity?

- Last time he was split from his family he went a bit off the rails.

I'd love to have him, provided his family came with him. I played Junior footy with him...that's sure to be my only claim to fame.

He could definately be good, was great in the Hawks game at the MCG this year. Not sure if he is worth what richmond are offering. Also depends on what brisbane would want as compensation

The kid can play, I remember playing against him in School Football when he was playing 2 years above his grade and still blitzing us.

I wouldn’t make a play for him though; he is a ‘home sick’ case waiting to happen - he walked out on the Lions for that reason despite living in Ipswich...just down the motorway

exactly i would feel very nervous offering him a 3 year contract, especially after he walked out on the lions during pre-season.

Yeah, read some info of the Lions board...he couldn't handle the preseason training and left in January only to arrive back at the start of May.

Richmond are hoping he slips through to the PSD and get him for squat...offering him $500,000 for 3 years is a huge risk especially if he can't handle the city of Melbourne and the rabble at Punt road!

Let's move on...:p

I haven't seen a lot of Rhan Hooper, but I have seen him play a couple of games that were very impressive. It's worth some thought.

Spot On.

Excellent natural talent but a younger version of Sampi.
