Hello to all Carlton Supporters.

I picked up some interesting info for you all at work today.
A new Bloke started at work about a month ago in a different department to me
So I only got to talk to him today.
As I passed his Office I introduced myself and said how’s your weekend.
He said o’k but my Team lost. I asked him who he barracked for and
He said Carlton and I told him that I had listened to the game and that the finish
Was pretty exiting.
He told me that Carlton had too many Players that don’t put in, so I asked him
what he meant.
This guy told me that outside of working hours he’s involved with the A.F.L
Umpires. ( AND I DO MEAN INVOLVED )
One of these Umpires actually barracks for Carlton and has told him that certain
Down in form Players have been overheard to say to the Runners when being given
Instructions ( from the Coach ) Quote “ What would He Effing know He hasn’t
Even played the Effing Game ) and other statements, too many to mention here.
It’s amazing what one can pick up without really trying.

P.S I’m not trying to take the Pith out of you with this story as Carlton is my Second Team
( Due to the fact that I was too young to travel to North games by myself) My Aunty is a Carlton
Supporter and took me to Carltons’ games every week until I was older.
I actually held a Carlton Membership for 3 years back in the 50’s.

Cheers,

The Munster.
:) :) :)

That's just par for the course I would have thought.

Even if your coach was a legend of the game like Ronald Dale they'd probably say "what does that old fart know- he hasn't played for 40 years".
