He should try for a deal like Kennelly has from the Swans. He does his preseason at home in Listowel, Co. Kerry and does not return till New Year. They trust him to do the work and I presume he fitness is monitored by Irish fitness coaches and info relayed to Sydney

I was just in Ireland and the bus driver in from the airport said that a few of the Irish boys playing in the AFL have been playing in the local leagues.

I had a good laugh in Killarney in Kerry where the flags etc were still up in the street around three weeks after their grand final win. Surprisingly enough the losers of that grand final also had their's still out too.

The losers - Cork - were celebrating their womens team winn the Ladies Football All Ireland for the 3rd year running!! Thats why the flags were still up

or injured? seriously would this be allowed under his contract? Seems risky to me.

Thank you it was driving me nuts wondering why anyone would keep the flags up after losing a grand final.
