Anybody else think that we are in a very strong position to get Trent Cotchin with pick 4, who in my opinion is the best player in the draft.
I mean Carlton will pick Kruezer at #1. Richmond looks as if they will get Cale Morton at #2 after grabbing Mitch Morton in trade week. And the Weagles may skip him after Cotchins dad said he doesnt want his son playing for West Coast, also West Coast may think he might pull a Judd, and go home so insted they take a WA boy
no. steve woodhouse said last night that wce would pick cotchin if he is still available.

nope, WCE will take cotchin, the media beat thast story up a bit. We have, and always will take talent above geographic disposition

Unfortunately no
If Richmond dont take him, We will. No doubt about it.
Still some great players below him though.
Masten is a dud, dont take him at 4. Make sure he slips to 13 ok!

brett ratten said this morning on sen that the recruiting staff is actually spilt on drafting either cotchin or kruzer.................this means:
pick 1) either cotchin or kruzer to carlton
pick2) if kruzer falls to 2 which i doubt, richmond will definatley take him....they really like cal mortan though so maybe just maybe cotchin could fall out of the top two
pick3) if cotchin falls to here wce will take him no doubt, ready made player to help replace judd would be the perfect scenario for them.......i have doubts they wll take mortan since they just got rid of his brother, but his under 18 carnival was so strong they may
cotchin will definatly go somewhere in the top 3 i want him but we wont get him........cal mortan is our best chance of slipping out if the eagles and tigers decide to pass on him, he would still be a fantastic pick up at number 4

I've cooled on Palmer. Seems like a guy who only works hard one way. Ebert seems like a good young player but does he possess any pace? Masten is too much like Jones and McLean. Rance, Henderson and McEvoy are a chance, although we may wait on them in the hope they slip through to 14.
Love having these picks so early in the draft... makes it all the more exciting!

Ebert does have pace, he can do it all in the midfield
