Thanks for the memories Wayne.. very sad to see, but maybe it's for the best if his heart is not in it.

Agreed Des.
Maybe he read our posts on the weekend ?!
Naahh , it wasn't hard to call , but I hope he stays at the club in some capacity.
Great player and I know first-hand , a good bloke.

he said that he would be sticking around and helping out behind the scenes at least till the end of the year, which is good to see. Very smart man. could be quite useful.

Yeah, it's a shame to see Schwatta go, but if his heart's not in it, then it's a wise decision, I know that it must have been a tough decision for him.

I hope he's stays round with the club in some capacity, I saw Luffy after the Swans match at Stadium Australia with Ricky Mott and Nic Fosdike. It's good to see some of the retired guys still involved in the club in some capacity, even if it's just to catch up with the boys after the match. Hope Schwatta will continue to have some contact with the club after this weekend! :)

I dont want to get abused here for this because the Swannys are my second favourite team but i was seriously told this yesterday. I was with a former AFL umpire yesterday and he was saying that Schwass was given an ultimatum from the Kangaroos to stop his recreational drug use, which he did`nt and was given the same warning and ultimatum recently from the Swans. I cannot see it being the case, but this guy was absolutely positive that it is true. Has anyone heard a similar rumour around the club or up in Sydney. Once again i have not posted this to cause trouble or to cop abuse so dont take it the wrong way. :)

I'd heard that one - couldn't stop laughing.

a lot of these floating around, and none of them have been proven to be true, so I wouldn't assume this one to be any different.
