I'm not completly sure of the rules on a particular point. I read an article saying Kepler Bradley is putting all his hopes on continuing his AFL career with Fremantle, and would prefer to be picked up by them in the National Draft. Now this was curious to me. How come some former players are allowed to nominate for both drafts, yet others are only allowed to nominate for the psd. FOr instance, Brennan has said he would like to go to Essendon if he goes into the preseason draft but if he does go into the psd the chances of him coming to essendon are quite remote (with pick 5). why wouldnt he nominate for the national instead. Surely he'd be more of a chance to come to Essendon if that were to happen. There must be some rule/regulation stopping him nominating for the national. My question is, whats the rule, and how come?

alright so because Bradley was delisted he can, but because Brennan would just be out of contract, he's not actually delisted so he cant?
