After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Aussies lost 2 wickets in the 1st over without any score on the board, Gilchrist and Ponting out for ducks. We have recovered somewhat to be 2 for 21 after 8 overs, but there's a lot of work to be done to get back into the game.

We are now 3 for 25 after 10 overs. Damien Martyn and Darren Lehmann are at the crease, and need to build a partnership.

168 is a small, target, but it will test Pakistan,

any ideas what the crowd is like?

Pakistan get home by two wickets in a tight contest.

Haven't heard an official crowd figure, suspect that it is somewhat bigger then for Wednesday's match.

We were never really in it. Commentators were saying it's anyones game, but really??

Not a too bad crowd, should be a bit bigger at the gabba on wednesday. I'll be there!

I thought the Aussies did well to make Pakistan fight very hard to get the 168 they needed. We nearly pulled off a fantastic victory thanks to some outstanding bowling from Brett Lee and Shane Warne.

Looking forward to game 3 on Wednesday... should be a beauty!!

Yep, agreed. The Aussies really showed some good fighting spirit. Very dissapointed with the Aussie batting, Gilly was unlucky - what a pearler to get first up....

FreeSpeech,

If I had the chance, I'd certainly be going along to the game. It should be a good match, depending on the weather of course!! :)

The atmosphere at Colonial was paled in comparsion to a Summer game, which is to be expected, but when mexican waves get tired after 2 minutes, you know your in trouble.

A group of about 20 Pakistanis were pretty good at chanting.....but I dunno what they were saying.
