As a Midnight Oil fan and an all-round rock fan, I'm pretty excited about this:

Garbage, Billy Idol (!), the aforementioned Oils, Nickelback, Lifehouse, The Whitlams, and more...

Basically Triple M and Rock's answer to last year's Rumba festival. (And the Big Day Out etc)

So start saving now because tickets go on sale July 4.

An article about it appeared in today's H-S. There may have been ads on Triple M for it. If not, I'd imagine there soon will be.

As for Nickelback, it's being sponsored by Triple M (who I don't listen to). Maybe they think they're still cool.

I also heard it advertised on Fox FM this morning, thought it was s bit weird but hey, if theyre gonna pay for the advertising why not

Actually I found this out a lil while ago, lol and I'm going just for Lifehouse. I have been waiting and waiting for Lifehouse to come down under, and now they're finally bloody coming!! OMG I cannot wait! God I love Lifehouse!! :D but bloody hell it's in October :mad:
