Gavin is my drafted player in 2008.

Played consistent senior football for Mount Gravatt in Queensland during 2006 as a key defender and represented Queensland at U16 and U18 level. Has a good left foot kick on him and runs from defence.

Rare to give a player a second rookie year, Port would be expecting further development from Gavin in 2008.

Played SANFL North Adelaide ..debut in A's?.

Hope he kicks on ... another tall defender would be handy.

One might think you have a thing for Gavin, you not only selected him as your Buddy in 2008 but the previous year also.

I'm pretty sure hes already made his League debut with North Adelaide, although he did play mainly Reserves last year. Although recruited as a defender, some of his best moments for the season were actually up forward, which is great though because it shows he has some flexibility.

Lets hope he kicks on in 08 and is a chance to be promoted to the main list at the end of the year (especially if Carlile doesn't progress as hoped/expected).

I didn't realise that

I'll definitely keep a better eye on him in 2008, BD.

I've seen this guy play a few times and he has a beautiful leg on him. He could play Lonies role in the team and actually be effective.
