How's Troy Chaplin travelling to those of you that attended Port Adelaide's training sessions ?? Has he had any setbacks / injuries this preseason ??

From what I've seen, Chaplin's moving along well. He did all the work today as far as I could tell and appeared to be the releasing/quarterbacking tall defender in the end to end drill. He tends to look like he's cruising in that he does what you expect of him, no clangers but nothing spectacularly outstanding either. More and more, a really reliable looking player.

I agree with Ford's obs - Chaplin has been solid but not spectacular and is usually the centre of attention when the ball is being worked out of defence in a linking situation.

A few weeks back, in the Herald Sun, Chaplin was listed as a player who Port might trade?
The reason they gave was because he's Victorian - wasn't very convincing.

Is there a chance he may be traded? And to the Bombers?

Yeah, but only if we were to get your first pick and Ryder.
