More info on Ryan Williams

Williams is a versatile teenager who is still yet to make a debut. He plays as a small defender, and plays for Central District in the SANFL when not playing for Port Adelaide. He lives with team-mate Travis Boak.

He has settled in well at Central Distrct, because he already knows teammates Justin Westhoff, Brad Symes, and the Gowans (Chris and James).

The Willo Wonder is set for an amazing 2008.

Sources say that our stand-in head trainer for Darren Burgess, one of Dad's Army, has put Willo on an all-spinach diet, so as to make him strong to the finish.

Saw a bit of this bloke as a junior, how is he coming along? close to a senior gig?

He's playing good solid footy for his local SANFL club Central District, and from reports Port seem happy with his progress and are raising their expectations of him. But he'd be down the queue a bit for a senior game.

His nickname at the club is Ryno.

But I have dubbed him the unmade bed, because he looks like one, socks down, shirt out, looks a little un-co. But he appears to be playing well at Centrals and been given a run on the ball. Hopefully he will continue on his way and push for selection before the season is over.
