I just managed to see Eminem's live concert from California on Channel V.
High quality concert, I enjoyed it alot.
Also had performances from Dr Dre, D12 and Xzibit.
Well done Channel V for getting it. Especilly considering MAIN EVENT were offering a Eminem concert as a PPV for $39 about 6 months ago.
Anyone else manage to see it?

Sly bastards.
It was the same concert that was on Main Event about 12 months ago.
I paid $17 for the concert back then.

Really?
Your joking!
Geez, LIVE my arse!
I thought it was strange that he didn't do any songs from 'The Eminem Show.' No wonder...
In that case, **** Poor Channel V!
BTW, What do you think of his new CD if you have it? I am a bit disapointed. Besides 'Without Me', I find the majority too slow and not catchy enough.
It was ok... if you missed it, don't worry they are re-shpwing it throughout the week.

It took me a while to get used to it, but i really love it.
In each of his three albums his style has changed from gimmicky songs on the first album to much deeper songs on this album.
My favourite tracks are 'Cleaning Out My Closet', 'My Dad's Gone Crazy', 'When The Music Stops' and 'Sing For the Moment'.

Very true.
It takes a while to get used to, but now I am hooked.

Yep, i got it.
The girlfriend pre-ordered it for me.
It contains 3 or 4 live performances, a new clip, some backstage footage, and an in-depth interview with Eminem.
Oh, it also had a trailer for his new movie, and one of his infamous Slim Shady cartoons.

It sounds good.

It looks brilliant actually.
Of course its his life story, but with a different name (the character is called Jimmy Smith Jnr.).
They've managed to get some decent actors to star with him, Kim Basinger plays his mother (Debbie Mathers).
Brittany Murphy stars as his girlfriend/wife (Kim Mathers).
A couple of the guys from D-12 (Bizarre, Swift and Proof) are also portrayed in the film.
You can watch the trailer at Dre and Eminem's production site Shady Records (http://www.shadyrecords.com/)

That was only a skit, albeit a bad one.
Was just Proof acting like a tool.
Thank god he dropped it before they came out here.

Hey Phat,
do you think/have you heard anything about the possibility of Em doing a Australian tour?
I would love to see him live and considering he has gone platnium here many times, it would be a nice gesture.

He was here less then 12 months ago (I saw his Melbourne Show) so i don't think there's any chance of him coming out in the near future.
Two things that make it hard for him to come out here regularly are:
* The Australian Government and the Fred Nile types: He got an awful lot of grief when he came out his last time, i could understand him not wanting to come out here again.
* Ticket Prices: He's stated many times that he doesn't like charging a fortune for his shows but when you've got to bring out 6 performers (himself and the rest of D-12) as well as Dre and Philip Atwell you've got no choice but to charge a fortune for tickets.
My tickets for his Melbourne show cost me $100 each, still worth it though :)

Yeah,
unfortuantly there wasn't a show up here. :(
How was the show live? Was it fantastic? Did he diss Australia? :D

It was a great show, started about 30 minutes late because he was off talking to Hailie Jade.
He dissed John Howard bigtime, also swallowed an tablet of "E".
He performed all his hits as well as all of D-12's album, was a pretty enjoyable night.
Definitely worth the $100.
