It seems Torney may play for the Bays. If Bodie does not get another AFL gig could he go down there? I have also been told that they are keen to get Perrie.

If all this happens and Glenelg win in 08, a full page thankyou to the Adelaide Crows in the The Advertiser would be appropriate!!

Gets!

Torney said he will give South Adelaide every chance to get him down at Noarlunga. Perrie also could line up for the Panthers.

Torney only lives a few metres down the road from the oval, he'd be great if we could nab him. I'd imagine Bodey would front up.

Not sure why we'd be keen on Perrie though. We've got a far superior, younger player that does a very similar role.

The panthers suck.

If you were really helping Glenelg, you would keep Torney and Bode on your list, but play them all year in the SANFL. Outside the salary cap then.

Im a bit cut about Torney not overly keen on Souths. Youd think he would want to go back and give the club some service. As for Perrie he can get stuffed for walking out on us last time. 2008, year of the Panther:D

From purely selfish perspective, I hope Perrie doesn't end up with Glenelg or West Adelaide. Much rather see Sellar and Tippett get league games.

I know, but I will still keep supporting my team. I am actually looking forward to seeing what Cahill will do with the team next year and I think that someone of Torney's quality would be of great benefit to the team as well.

I just find it ridiculous we dropped torney and bodey
I no we have to get rid of people but Bodey puts his guts out and that why he gets injured WE NEEDED THAT!
And torney played his best year sooo i no hes getting old but he would still be valuable...
I dont think all will go to Glenelg not all are keen to go there

About time the Bays got something, given we were the most adversely impacted by the Crows originally entering the comp. :thumbsu:

Would you drive from Glenelg to Noarlunga or whereever their ground is three of four times a week, when an SANFL club is kicking distance from your front yard??

So now you are a Victorian who loves the Crows AND Tigers?

Not sure how good a pick-up Perrie will be as he is pretty inconsistent, he did play his best ever Rooster game at the Bay though.

I used to drive from my parents house in the Mitcham area to Elizabeth three times a week to coach for a club that needed help. Did that for nearly 2 years before moving interstate. I got a cheque at the end of each term for about $100 which never covered my petrol costs. There were clubs closer to me that I could have coached at but this one really needed a coach more. So the answer is yes from me.....

Do you go to Noarlunga very often these days Nikki?

FlyingCrow

Very cold down there on a winters day

For a few Centrals players it takes them longer to get donw there, than it does the Crows to travel to Melbourne.

You and I have had this discussion before RL and really going to the footy on your own, not so much fun....

RoosterLad

Haha well I think we have discussed this before but I had probably had a beer or ten. Going to the footy on your own to support your team is fine... going to Noarlunga on the other hand, I can't blame you for staying away.

I can actually state that I have been to noarlunga to watch a footy game. Not recently but at least I made the attempt. ;)

going to Noarlunga from Modbury to watch your team on a Sunday isnt too bad, unless, you are kicking with a 7 goal breeze and are down 5 goals to zip in the first 10 minutes. Happens too often

Sorry Nikki, but having been there once on a windy day, I won't be looking to ever go there again. :thumbsd:

sorry too nikki

having been there on a blowy day (when isnt it) i agree it needs to be sunk 30 foot into the ground to stop the wind ( but then while your at it leave it 30 foot down and start elsewhere):D

good luck to your panthers next year but as in the wild they aint no tiger!;)

CMON THE BAYS (torney and bode part payment for the inaugural crows squad!:thumbsu:)
