Lord we've had some crabs play for this club :o

God you're not wrong.... that was my thought exactly as I was looking through it... :o

Not surprisingly - most of the "longest" records are held by a lot of current players. There was such a turnover of really bad (and some not so bad) players for a very long time.... :(

Ben Cunningham did have lovely curly hair though (I think?)...although the Dome had none...

Enigmatic and shite are the words that come to mind looking at that list...

I hope you're not putting Scotty Chisholm in the shite category. I've had just about enough of you lot picking on the prince of pockets.

Just as an aside, Travis Edmonds' dad was my maths teacher in high school. Nice bloke away from the maths, but lock him in a classroom for longer than 20mins without a smoke and he was liable to rip someone's head off.

I could see a lot of his dad in him the day Travis got suspended for throwing his mouthguard at a WAFL umpire.

Surely you can't lump Andrew Wills in the shite category. Enigmatic, yes.

What wasn't to love about watching his bald head glisten under the bright WACA lights while he ran around kicking goals out of his arse...

They still haven't found anyone worthy of taking over number 26. Phil Smart, take note. Never mind getting a tall, quick midfielder. Just find someone who is Clive-esque enough to wear 26. Premierships will follow.

I really think we should've considered retiring number 23. To carry the entire team for the best part of a decade was something special and poor ole' Parks never got any recognition for it. It would've been an appropriate tribute to the great man.

It's a tough ask for anyone to live up to the genius that was Scotty Chisholm.

True. His footballing philosophy was quite revolutionary. He put the libertarian ideals of equality and reward for effort in practice insisting on kicking to the advantage of nobody.

None of this partisan spot up your teammates rubbish, Scotty thought it was better to create the footballing equivalent of free trade by giving players from both sides an even chance to get the ball.

God, I miss him. :thumbsu:
