Player Injury Expected Return
Michael Gardiner hamstring 1 week
David Sierakowski hamstring 1 week
Greg Harding ankle 1 week
Richard Taylor knee 1 week
Troy Wilson shoulder 2 weeks
Travis Gaspar foot 6 weeks
Chad Morrison knee season
Phil Read knee season
well this looks preety good..I mean apart from Chad Morrison and Phil Read and Travis Gasper....most of the injured boys should be back for Adelaide or Geelong at the very worst. Richard Taylor probably would not get a game..same goes for Greg Harding. But Gardi, Siera and Porno should be back for Adelaide. I know it says that Porno is out for another two but as we've discussed on other threads he is a tough bastard and Id back him to play against the crows
The main players we need back from the list are Siera, Willo and Gardiner
Siera and Willo's injuries are well documented but im not sure if Gardiner will be back in 1 week, considering we dont know what's actually wrong with his hamstring!

Our injury list is usually a work of fiction designed for media consumption. Who knows who will return and when?
Exactly.
Gardiner was meant to be back for the last three weeks or so!

But then he rehurt it again and hence he's missed more games.

Good question Mr Eagle...he must be or he'd be on this list! Hmmm is he running around in the wafl? Does anyone know what the story is with Prior?

Prior is definitely playing WAFL for East Perth, dont know how long he has been playing for though.

Really!!!!!!! Surely theres room for him...isnt he a small defender..isnt that what we've been missing?

Not really a small defender, more of a mid-sized defender. Id say Woosha is trying to blood the youngsters by playing them, there may be concerns over Prior's knee too that we dont know about.
I think it was VOR who postewd last week that Prior was playing but a month away from being AFL fit. Not having had a preseason training will affect him. Sierra did a fair bit of weights preseason but still took 9 weeks into the season to get a game.
Thing about Gardy is that i haven't seen him around for some time. Not at functions and not in the huddle to sing the song after wins. I just hope that he hasn't had a recon or something and it's being kept quiet.

The injury list is actually pretty bad.
It's amazing that Woosha has got us over the line with no forward line for the past couple of weeks.
Ken Judge and his mates Brad and Kim would've no doubt used this as an excuse if he was still at the helm.
Thank God those days are gone.

I doubt that he's had a reconstruction..if it was that bad then they would have told us surely? It does seem a bit wierd that he hasnt been around the club at functions or in a huddle singing the song after the win...it makes me think that it may be part disciplinary with Gardi! If thats true then woosha must have ALOT of faith in Dean Cox!
To Buzz...our injury list isnt THAT bad...we should get siera and porno and gardi back for the adelaide or geelong game...its not all doom and gloom!
Regarding Gardiner, im concerned to hear that he isnt singing the song with the team after the game, considering ive seen many occasions this year where the likes of Morrison and Read are joining in
Hopefully he'll be right against Adelaide

Yep..he has to be right..Im sure he's fine!
Not really that bad...apart from Gaspar everybody else will be ready for the Crows, if not then Geelong. Well apart from Gardiner?? No idea what he has done or when he will be back.
Well I dont know about you guys but I think im gunna bring out all my praying gear and pray like all buggery for the return of Gardi. If I dont post anything in a couple of days its because Im praying 24/7 ;) :D :p :)
