What will we do with these guys now???
will we elevate foster now there is a decent amount of room on the list and then that way we can make smith the nominated rookie to replace Jlo or will we just make foster the nominated one and wait for another time to see what smith has to offer? Or we may pick up dunn, collard, mourish and they could be the nominated one? thoughts

We have six spots to fill, I'll be surprised if Foster isn't promoted now.
Smith will stay on the rookie list.

Something is very wrong if Foster isn't elevated he was in our best 2 of the 3 games he played this year, i would expect Smith to be JLo's replacement so that leaves 4 spots on the list so i would expect 3 draft pics and then Kepler Bradley in the Preseason draft.

Foster is ready to be let loose. IMO I already consider him to be first 22 based on how he finished out this season. Classy player.... possible gun??? who knows.

"...and then Kepler Bradley in the Preseason draft".
Despite being the whipping boy for the Dons, where would we play him? We need a key defender, does he fit the bill? He played CHB and won B and F there. Physically Haddrill was the man, now he's gone. Grover and McPharlin are rebounders. Thoughts?

I really like the look of Chris Smith, very early days but he may well end up being the pick of the bunch from last year.

Don't think Dunn can be rookie listed as he has played senior AFL already. He is being asked to train with them and might be redrafted.
I think Foster will be elevated permanently, Smith probably as the nominated rookie for JLo.
This leaves four spots so three draft picks plus Kepler I expect. Dunn will be hoping for one of those - shallow draft so he has a chance. Mourish and Collard will have to try and get rookie listed like Ryan Crowley was by proving they have the desire to train and play.
I have big hopes for Foster (and Peake) in 2008 I think they are both ready to really change our midfield up a cog or three with their running ability.

I saw smith play SD's last game last year and I didnt know who he was till I looked him up on the net... and I was impressed with him before that! Means I wasn't just being bias.

From what I hear, he's ticking all the right boxes.

Dunn is young enough by about 1 week to spend 2008 as a regular rookie, regardless of whether he's played AFL or not. After that, he'll be too old.

I didn't hear about Bradley winning B&F playing at CHB, although I read he won it this year at bendigo playing CHF. According to alot of Bombers supporters he struggles down back but should be ok across HFF/wing. Apparently his kicking and decision making lets him down........not an ideal combination for a backmen.
He won it playing CHF.
No good as a back. Potential as a forward. Which is why I'm a little confused Freo has been showing such interest. Thought you had those bases covered?
