Collard, Ryley Dunn, and Caleb Mourish have all been delisted by Fremantle. What a joke Freo's list management is...1 year at the club and they are given the flick. I rate all three of those players enormously. Go MFC go!
Without knowing too much about them, considering how bad the Dockers were this year, they surely must be duds to be delisted. Do you know much about them?

Collard and Mourish must have done something really wrong, considering Freo now have to pay out the rest of their contracts

both are indiginous kids, with well-known issues
the commitment isnt there apparantly
im not sure bringing them over to melbourne would be the best bet then, unless wheels and flash can get in their heads

Connolly at Melbourne is a brilliant appointment. Despite the man being a spud coach he still does know a thing or 2 about football. Any club would kill to have him in the position we do right now. It's a forward step in the right direction.
I'd look at Dunn highly touted victorian who could become ok

"The club will be seeking permission from the AFL for Clayton, Calib and Ryley to commence pre-season training with Fremantle." - Looks like they are going to try and rookie some or all of them.
The issue with Collard and Mourish must be attitude, and maybe they are worth a gamble on a rookie list if Freo dont want them. Collard especially at pick 31 from last years draft must represent more value than the 80th best player in this draft.
Ryley Dunn has always been talked up as quality but has a terrible injury history, again I wouldn't put him on the main list, just having two Dunn's would be confusing.

Dunn has been talked up ever since 2004...facts are;
injury prone
very slow (slower than Hasleby)
one sided
doesn't find enough of the footy
injury prone

Collard is the one I'd be looking at, taken pretty high up with big wraps, deserves at least a 2nd year in the system.

Dunn was a high draft pick wasn't he but Fremantle doesn't exactly have a great drafting history.

In all seriousnes you guys really should be having a look at these guys, What with Connolly at your club there is an instant report with the playersd and i owuldn't be surprised if it turns out that the appointment of harvey has affected the two youngens collard and mourish. It's obviously going to be a gamble but really you guys are in the prime position when it comes to knowledge about these players.

I rate CC very highly for the position you have him in. Great bloke and the right position for him.
I don't think he rates Ryley Dunn too highly TBH. This is just by going from a comment he made last year, when Dunn was finally injury free and had played a few games in a row in the WAFL. When asked if he was going to get a game in the seniors, CC responded, "Ryley has got his body right, he just has to display that he wants to play AFL before he can get a game."
Attitude issues maybe? Dropped his head after so many injuries? I don't know. I rate him - I've seen a few games he's played for East Freo wheer he has dominated in the middle, then gone forward, marked strongly and kicked a couple of goals. I and am disappointed that he has been delisted - but like all decisions that happen in clubs, we can only speculate as to the real reason. These things aren't undertaken lightly. But the guy is very injury prone, and has managed just 5 games in 4 years...
And to those bagging our drafting - that same year we picked up Dunn, we also picked up Peake, Johnson and Murphy... so we did alright in that year. ;)

What about when we had two Lovetts and a Lovell?Maybe if we get two Dunn's if one of them is bald it would make it easier for me.

What about when we had two Lovetts and a Lovell?
Or when we had to Johnson's and a Johnstone?
Wouldn't mind looking at Ryley Dunn... was hoping that Ryan Murphy would be one of those on the list but I reckon that's just wishful thinking.

what about robert Hadrill wasnt he playing some good football at FB before getting injured in 06? could be the tall defender we have needed, then again i may be wrong havent seen much of him
he is not tall enough for a kp back, is outsized most weeks not much difference between him and carroll size wise carroll does a good job and he is fully fit as well.

Agree i especially like collard and dunn. Apprentley freo is having all three training with them though with the idea of re-drafting at least one of them maybe 2. If ryley dunn becomes available i would love to grab him, he has an afl ready body and some good skills. Prehaps a late draft pick or maybe pre-season draft considering him against fergus watts. I very much doubt freo will let collard go, dare say they will re-draft him, obviously just seeing if he has the commitment over the pre-season.
