Ok yes I am extremely bored.

I think Browny will have his best season yet in 08.

He will play 21 games and will have kicked 93 goals by the end of round 22.

He will be Brownlow runner up with 29 votes.

And with us finishing in the top 4 he'll have 2 games minimum to reach that ton.

Nah I think Braddles will come up with the goals in some games. It's about the structure they provide, not individual achievements. If Brown got 70 goals and Braddles 40 I'd be very happy. Don't forget that Mitch will probably score a few as well.

I think we're expecting a lot from Browny and fair enough. Had a ripper year and won a Coleman medal. I also think though that we've forgotten about Bradshaw. Is IMO an elite forward. A lot of talk about how Bradshaw will help out Browny next year. But the best scenario for the Lions is them working in perfectly in tandem (as they did sensationally for about a month in 2006 before Browny went down). If all things go as planned, we might see less goals from Browny, but more wins for the Lions.

Brown will hit 85 or so in '08.

Not to mention the field trip our smaller forwards are gonna have each game crumbing around these two!
Watch Sherman elevate his game and hooper to swoop like flash gordon!!!

If he only gets runner up with 29 brownlow votes, there's some other guy who had a magic magic season. if he or any1 for that matter gets 29 he will win for sure

Similar to Snuka's thoughts, Brown's goal for 2008 will be to try and help us win more than 12 games.:)

It's been mentioned before about the influence Brown can have without kicking so many goals...but I would be seriously very happy for Brown to be considered 'overrated' and 'not living up to his potential' again if he is doing his work off the ball at CHF and delivering to Bradshaw with Hooper & Mcgrath picking it up off the ground...as long as we kick more goals and win more games.

Let's just hope he doesn't sustain any long term Injury, otherwise i think we will struggle to make the 8

Agree completely Skuka. Alot of people are saying Bradshaw will be a 'foil' for Browny next year. That is selling Bradshaw short. He is a foil to no one, he is a legitimate gun forward in his own right.

I cant see Bradshaw kicking many goals next season(if in fact he does play forward)backing up from the knee reco.
If Clarke is up and running he should be the other target and I would ease Braddy in down back.

i think brown if he is the number 1 foward option (with braddles down back), will probably kick more goals than he did this year because now that he's gone through a whole season and pre-season training, he will come out firing not only in the second half of the season, but the first half as well:thumbsu:

Talking about the the Brown Family....

In my local paper Matthew Brown the younger brother of Jonathan Brown has signed to play with Kangaroo Flat in the Bendigo Football League in 2008.

i think it would be great for browny to have a stellar season, but we need to remember that for brisbane to really hit their best, we need to not rely on him so much. with bradshaw and clark hopefully staying injury free for 2008, the workload will be more spread and browny may not do as well as everyone is expecting. but still go browny:thumbsu::D

I'd be absolutely estatic if Brown, Bradshaw and Clark all played 20+ games.....if they do this the goals will flow for all 3 :thumbsu:

For what it's worth I think they'll end up with;

Brown 65
Bradshaw 40
Clark 30
