I heard today that Ian wants to leave North Adelaide and play for a different SANFL club. The question is would anyone want him, even at SANFL level? This is a serious question, not a slagging of Perrie. I'll put it this way, I wouldnt want him at Sturt. Vote with your head people, not your hearts.

I would take him at South

WWTFC supporter here - no way.

Bloody sucks that Lindsay and Inkster are hanging them up though.

Why did you vote yes then?

We'll take anyone we can get. Anyone got a number for Jonathon Ross??

Still, not sure if Perrie would be suitable for Jack Cahill's (inevitable) "hard at the ball, hard at the body" gameplan

I wish him well - just not at Centrals....

Would probably do pretty well down at Westies, Perrie has a great work ethic, strong body would be a great leader down at a club bereft of much leadership in the past few years.

norwood could, and have done a lot worse, than have a nibble.

He'll probably get another go, but I don't want him.

South might be a good fit.

Centrals don't need him, unless maybe if Havelberg gets drafted..

I could get a game at West Adelaide right now, so you'd think he'd go there...

Has he decided not to go to the PSD?

Wouldn't have thought he'd bother with the PSD, very few clubs really want average 28 year old key position forwards these days. If McGregor couldn't arouse much intrest, Perrie really has bucklies, he'd also have to probably move somewhere else and unless it was perth, I dont think he'd bother. Probably just play out his career in the SANFL, should be a good pick up for one of the struggling clubs, probably Westies or Souths, would love to see Westies pick him up, might set them back on the right track.

It is guranteed that he will end up at another SANFL club, what a ridiculous thread. Are you saying that someone like West or South wouldn't want ex-AFL player Perrie? South would probably pay him 10x as much as he would have got at the Crows.

Blah blah blah NOT AT SOUTH!!!!
Finally got rid of him from the Crows, why is he the only one not wanting to go back to WA???

He is studying to be a qualified builder here in Adelaide and only has one year remaining of his course. Therefore it would be much better to remain here and complete it over the next 12 months rather than move home.

Yep and then become a builder in Perth (or Roxby Downs) :thumbsu:

WHy did he leave South Adelaide for North Adelaide in the first place?

Maybe someone like the Bays could use him, because he definately isnt a total dud ALL THE TIME! He might be the next step towards their quest for playing some serious finals footy...

Clearly it is not a ridiculous thread but definitely worth some thought, I would be very suprised if there are league clubs jumping out of their skins to get him, which says alot. This is a guy who had been kept on AFL our list and indeed the best 22 for a long time. Think about it. Seems like only struggling clubs would seriously look at him, or those who need to fill a gap.
I draw attention to the following thread for a similar question but a different angle, probably the question I should have asked in the first place.

My answer is NO, I dont care what the squad is like, I would play a 17 year old if you have to and give him a chance to develop. ie not under any circumstances.

Norwood could probably find a role for him. Only problem is they seem to prefer AFL players with a poor attitude (Pfeiffer, Meesen, Jericho). :p
