Setting aside the absurd Victorian bias, why the hell would Symonds bat at #8?

Watson will probably be thereabouts, but you'd have to wonder how many chances he's going to get.

LOL Rodan's is so much better than yours it's not funny.

Klinger as opening bat/wicketkeeper?

Siddle? If he seriously ever plays for Australia I will denounce my citizenship.

I like that one....but what about lee? I think he might still be around in 4 years.
What do you think about David Hussey? Do you think he has more chance than Voges?

Not many out of the ordinary there. The spin option is interesting - somebody will need to step up (Bailey or Cullen or some other).

I don't know if Lee will still be around but i named him anyway.

Interesting that no one is giving D.Hussey a chance of being in the side in 4 years time, going to be an old middle order

Interesting that no one is giving D.Hussey a chance of being in the side in 4 years time, going to be an old middle orderHe's obviously a chance.

But I don't reckon any of Ponting, Symonds or Mike Hussey are too old to be in the frame.

Watson will probably be thereabouts, but you'd have to wonder how many chances he's going to get.
Do you mean chances because he keeps failing, or because he keeps getting injured?

Last time I looked he was performing his role in the team when fit.

I like this one the best. Not convinced that Bailey's current career statistics demand a place in the national team any time soon, but this is four years away so I guess you're taking into account his 'potential' .. good move.;)

We have an old team now, and no one is complaining. Not that I know of anyway. We're still winning matches.
Pup will only be 30.
