After 59 AFL games for Fitzroy including their last hoorah, Brisbane, Geelong & 201 Games for the North Adelaide Football Club Scott ''Banger'' Bamford'' retired from competitive footy at the Roosters B&F last night.

Would have played a lot more AFL games if not for the merger.

Another one bites the dust. I wonder who will be the last ex-Fitzroy player to retire from playing footy at any level.

Still had a bit left in the tank too, could still outrun most SANFL midfielders/wingers this year. That flying snap he kicked from the deep Adelaide Oval pocket in 2006 is one of the great goals you will see too
