I don't know if many of you lions fans have been on our board but our board is saving money to keep NMFC in Melbourne and not be forced to relocate.
Now, by the looks of things, we have saved almost 11k. We are looking for more pledges and hopefully you guys have the urgency to help us.
I've now made this pledging more interesting.
For every non roo supporter who pledges $100 dollars from 6:30 pm today till 12:00 am tonight, i will add $10.
I hope some of you have the urgency to help us reach our goal.
Cheers

If I wasn't a student, I'd be in for this.
Good luck though. :thumbsu:
good luck i am sure the afl wiill look after your club interests in melbourne if they move to the gold coast look what they have done for the lions interests in melbourne. ..... bloody hell some one give this guy some money:)
Like your passion and no doubt most Lion's supporters want the same thing as you guys...although perhaps you should rename your thread 'Pledge for QLD to be a 1 team state'.;)

I think it would need to be the other way as pledging to the campaign will help keep it a 1 team state.

Not for me mate, to the campaign.
Oh, if anyone hasn't been on our board, Tim Rogers(if anyone on here knows him) who is a passionate roo supporter is trying to hold a concert to raise money for this campaign. So once it is held up, news will be flying around.

it will be sad if you guys have to shift homes, but if you do stay you need some good marketing people to sell the crap out of the kangaroos brand, wha A SUPER MARKETING NAME .
You need new marketing people because that should be such a easy brand to sell good luck to you guys:)

Im sure there is still 10-15k supporters who are outside our current membership total who will be members.
Marketing? What do you think we are trying to do? We are doing it for the club. Our aim is to create awareness to all those supporters and to hold on to any hope they still have left and keep supporting to the very death.
We have gone through 138 years of hardship and this is gunna be one of them. We did have this very same problem in the 70's and we still held on in Melbourne. I'm sure our history will stay in Melbourne.
Im confident we North Bigfooty members will be working our arses off to get as many supporters to sign up, even the non roo supporters.
Then again if we do move, i'm not the one who will be complaining about getting the money, draft concession, salary cap space, a stadium etc. You guys will.

Well we will see what happens. Maybe a bit of perspective will be found if we find out the Roos need salary cap concessions to survive in Qld (which they most certainly will).
There are plenty on here who would remember some North supporters (Flag Man and co) who were very dismissive of the needs for the Lions to have a retention allowance.
Unfortunately, if the Roos do move, all North supporters will find out what a difference it is to run a club in a rugby-dominated state.

Only if they are successful remember...and if the Roos do end up moving, they better not beat a big Vic club for a flag, or your concessions are gone. ;)
