Can someone please tell me what we got in exchange for Mitchell White from Geelong. Im guessing it was a draft pick or picks. Also which players did we get with those picks.
Just wondering if we won out on the deal or not, because White hasn't really done much at Geelong.
For Mitchell White, we received from Geelong:
Draft pick #27, ontraded to Essendon for Michael Prior.
Draft pick #45, we picked up Trent Carroll.
Draft pick #57, ontraded to Richmond for Mark Merenda.
There ya go. :)

We probably got the better end of the deal.
Merenda has been a match winner in couple of games and is a very handy small forward. Carroll was ok last year and provides some depth in our tall defenders.
Shame about White. Injuries really prevented him from fulfilling his potential.

i was always a big fans of mitch. soory to see him struggle with injuries over there.
Merenda and Prior are more than fair players and i reckon we won out in that trade
One question, anyone know whats happened to Trent Carrol?? He's not the best player in the world but last year i thought he did some good things and had some solid games.... will he be with the team next year?? Or is he injured?

I think Woosha has more faith in Adam Hunter and that is why he is playing him ahead of Trent Carroll.
I think Carroll will find it difficult to work his way back into the team but you never know, i like him and i thought he did some good things last year.
On White, i was sad to see him go, i liked him, he had a real connection with Cummings. Endless amounts of times you would hear "White to Cummings" I think we won out of the deal though. Merenda has been good and hopefully Prior will get a game soon.

Merenda's point last week was worth the White trade :D
As for Carroll, I think he could get delisted at the end of the season. Hasn't played too many games this year, was only picked up as a back-up backman in the Judge era, hasn't impressed with Claremont.

Or it could just be a youth policy kinda thing. But yes I'd say Hunter is probably stealing Carroll's role these days.

The problem with Trent Carrol was he gave away a lot of free kicks. He tended to get in a poor position and would put a hand around the neck or push his opponent.
I personally think he would have been a decent alternative at full forward with Willow out.
Based on selections so far I wouldn't bet on Carroll, Harding or Taylor being around next year.

I know the club rates Harding very highly, and are hoping that he can get back to his early career form. Unfortunately he has shown little since joining the Eagles, and I just hop his injury run doesn't ruin his career. I went to uni with him and he's a top bloke.

Bluey McKenna was quoted on 6PR a couple of weeks ago as saying that Harding was one of the players the club was hoping would get back up and was certainly in the best 22 fully fit. May have just been kind words for the media but it certainly sounded genuine.

So far this season I've had two eagles mention the word 'hack'. but they may have just been being unkind.

Fair enough, your obviously a lot closer to the situation than I am. He has decent skills but if his fellow players don't rate him I guess there's other areas that are letting him down.
