Did I see Shane Neaves in one of those photos...the second one where they're lining up for the 1500? Interesting...

Brad Green looks in pretty good shape in that pic, I still think he has room to improve and might do so next year.
Jones is a freak, but he really should be doing more sprint work, if he adds pace to his endurance he could have the body that most midfielder get to at around 25 when hes only 20.

The season can't start soon enough. Dunny looks a bit bulkier too.

Also nice to see Bartram and Rivers out there, albeit not participating in the 1500.

I know he has been labelled soft and is an unknown quantity, but for Meeson to finish third in a 1500m, as a massive unit, then we may have just landed someone quite special.
I absolutely love Jonesy too btw:)

either that or everyone else is no good. But that can't be right. How do you know he came third?

Surely everyone else is pretty fit and have looked after themselves in the off season. Look at the link in the first post and there's a few more pics/more info.

Jones is a tank and he's fit! Who do you think came last? Chopper?

This pre-season I'm making an effort to go down and watch the boys train often.

That logo was like created when Melbourne was invented. I like it.

That's the new logo. And I was only aware now that we have a new sponser in Reebok? Better than changing Primus I spose. Gets a pain with the merchandise and all.

I don't mind the logo, (i didn't vote for it) but i think we need a corporate logo and a football department logo.

The logo now i think is an excellent corporate logo, it looks very good on all the officail docs etc. But for the footy area i think we need a more dynamic logo like the 80s etc, but more modern.

I think that would be a good idea and satisfy a lot of us younger people!

Jones is going to be unstoppable next year if his sprints and kicking improve slightly. What a force at only 20!

Great to see Meesen trying to hard. Even if his ruckwork is average, having such a mobile big-man will be great!

Hopefully we actually bulk up a bit this year and don't go for the crappy "run and carry" that served us sooooooo well this year.

I'm still all for Brock as 2007 Captain. Celebrate the history of the club but setting it off in the right direction. Jones should work his way into the leadership group in a couple of years and maybe even Vice Captain and one point.
