What a pathetic shirt design they are trying to promote. They just took away the red and green panels and filled them in purple. What creativity :rolleyes: Mr. Eagle you must be sooooo jealous of such talent. And for $200,000 someone can sponsor it :rolleyes:

The simple designs are the way to go mate. Just have a look at ur away strip. They tried to design it so it looked trendy, but just ended up looking a wreck.

Not sure what you mean Frodo - isn't the all-purple jumper with the white anchor one of Freo's training jumpers?

Yes, but they are trying to get a sponsor for it as a 'special' alternative jumper.
dbhattarai- I agree completeley that WCE stuffed up with the ochre strip, although apparently there are many who like it.
I also agree with simplicity but an 'alternative' jumper needs to be more than just the removal of the Italian bit.

Simple is paramount, I agree, but this doesn't mean everyone should immediately start switching to a sash like Essendon and Richmond. A really good jumper will offer something basic but distinct to separate it from the pack - the Docker anchor does that on the home jumper, just like the Eagle wings did. But just changing the two shoulder patches isn't really enough difference...change the guts of it a bit (i.e. the old away jumper, green front with purple shoulders) and then you're talking.
The first thing I'd do is to remove the stupid bloody anchor. Red green and purple may look okay without it dragging them down.
